دهق
Attested forms : دِهَاقًۭا 1
Core meaning
Full to overflowing: a cup filled to the brim, lacking nothing.
Uses
دِهَاقًا → "brimming" : the cup that closes the list of delights.
- «وَكَأْسًۭا دِهَاقًۭا» — "and a brimming cup" (78:34)
Evidence from the text
The sole use closes a list: enclosed gardens and vineyards, companions, then a brimming cup (78:31-34). The next sentence gives its measure: "They will hear therein neither idle talk nor lies" (78:35). The fullness of the cup goes with a speech without emptiness or falsehood.
