نزف
Attested forms : يُنزَفُونَ 1 · يُنزِفُونَ 1
Core meaning
To be drained of one's reason, as by drunkenness: what the cup of the garden does not do.
Uses
يُنزَفُونَ, يُنزِفُونَ → "intoxication", "be intoxicated" : always denied: the drink does not take away lucidity.
Evidence from the text
Both occurrences describe the cup served in the garden and deny the same effect: "causing no headache and no intoxication" (37:47), "from which they will neither ache nor be intoxicated" (56:19). The word is used only to be denied: the drink is defined by what it spares.
