The word occurs only in 100:4, in the sequence of oaths: those that cross the limits, strike the spark, launch the assault at dawn, "stirring up the dust", then plunge into the heart of a host. نَقْع is what is raised; the verb that raises it, أَثَرْنَ, belongs to another root.
