ईश्वर के नाम से, जो सर्वदयालु, दयालु है। हाय हर चुभने वाले लांछनकर्ता पर, कटाक्षों से निंदा करने वाले पर, जो संपत्ति जमा करता है और उसे गिनता है, यह मानते हुए कि उसकी संपत्ति ने उसे सदा रहने वाला बना दिया है। कदापि नहीं!
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ كَلَّاۖ
वह अवश्य चूर करने वाली में फेंका जाएगा।
لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
और तुम्हें क्या अंदाज़ा दिलाए कि चूर करने वाली क्या है?
وَمَآ أَدۡرٜىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
ईश्वर की आग, जलाई हुई, जो चेतनाओं तक चढ़ जाती है।
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
वह उन पर निश्चय ही बंद की हुई है, फैले हुए स्तंभों में।
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّوصَدَةٞ فِي عُمُدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
