At-Taghabun

• 64:1

  In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Whatever is in the heavens and on the earth glorifies God.

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
• 64:1

  To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs the praise,

  لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ
• 64:1

  and He is capable of all things.

  وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ
• 64:2

  It is He who created you, and among you is one who disowns, and among you is a believer.

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌۭ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌۭ
• 64:2

  And God sees perfectly what you do.

  وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
• 64:3

  He created the heavens and the earth in truth, and formed you, and made your forms excellent,

  خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ
• 64:3

  and to Him is the destination.

  وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
• 64:4

  He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you reveal.

  يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
• 64:4

  And God is All-Knowing of what the chests contain.

  وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
• 64:5

  Has the information not come to you concerning those who disowned before, and tasted the evil consequence of their affair, and for them is a painful punishment?

  أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
• 64:6

  That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear proofs, but they said: Shall humans guide us?

  ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرٌۭ يَهْدُونَنَا
• 64:6

  So they disowned and turned away, but God is Self-Sufficient,

  فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّٱسْتَغْنَى ٱللَّهُ
• 64:6

  and God is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

  وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌۭ
• 64:7

  Those who disown claim that they will never be resurrected.

  زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟
• 64:7

  Say: Yes, by my Guardian, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did.

  قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ
• 64:7

  And that is easy for God.

  وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌۭ
• 64:8

  So believe in God and His messenger, and the light which We have sent down.

  فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلْنَا
• 64:8

  And God is Informed of what you do.

  وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ
• 64:9

  The Day He will gather you for the Day of Gathering — that is the Day of Mutual Deception.

  يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْجَمْعِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِ
• 64:9ورشقالون

  And whoever believes in God and does a righteous deed, He will cover for him his misdeeds and admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, forever.

  وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًۭا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا
• 64:9

  That is the immense triumph.

  ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
• 64:10

  But those who have disowned and denied Our signs — those are the companions of the Fire, abiding therein eternally,

  وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا
• 64:10

  and what an evil destination!

  وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
• 64:11

  No calamity strikes except by the permission of God.

  مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ
• 64:11

  And whoever believes in God — He guides his core,

  وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ
• 64:11

  and God is All-Knowing of all things.

  وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ
• 64:12

  And obey God, and obey the messenger.

  وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ
• 64:12

  But if you turn away, then upon Our messenger is only the clear transmission.

  فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
• 64:13

  God — there is no deity except Him.

  ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ
• 64:13

  And upon God let the believers rely.

  وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
• 64:14

  O you who have believed! Indeed, among your spouses and your children is an enemy to you, so beware of them.

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدِكُمْ عَدُوًّۭا لَّكُمْ فَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ
• 64:14

  But if you efface, overlook, and forgive — then indeed God is Most-Forgiving, Benevolent.

  وَإِن تَعْفُوا۟ وَتَصْفَحُوا۟ وَتَغْفِرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ
• 64:15

  Your goods and your children are but a trial,

  إِنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌۭ
• 64:15

  and with God is an immense reward.

  وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌۭ
• 64:16

  So guard yourselves toward God as much as you are able, and listen, and obey, and spend — it will be good for your own Selves.

  فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ
• 64:16

  And whoever is protected from the avarice of his Self — those are the ones who succeed.

  وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
• 64:17البزيقنبل

  If you lend God a good loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you,

  إِن تُقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ
• 64:17

  and God is Appreciative, full of patience.

  وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
• 64:18

  He is the Knower of what escapes the senses and of what is manifest,

  عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
• 64:18

  the All-Powerful, the Wise.

  ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
