Sourate Al-Qiyama (75) vowelled

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. I swear by the Day of Appearance, and I swear by the self-reproaching Self.i 2

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ

البزي

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? Yes indeed! 4

أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ بَلَىٰ

We are able to restore even his fingertips. 4

قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ

But man desires to persist in transgression before him. 5

بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ

He asks, "When is the Day of Appearance?"i 6

يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

So when the sight is dazzled, and the moon eclipses, and the sun and the moon are joined together, man will say on that Day, "Where is the escape?" 10

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ

No! There is no refuge. 11

كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ

To your Guardian, that Day, is the final place of rest. 12

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ

Man will be informed, that Day, of what he sent forward and left behind. 13

يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ

Rather, man is, over himself, a clear witness, even if he presents his excuses. 15

بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ

Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it; 16

لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ

upon Us is its collection and its recitation. 17

إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ

then, when We have recited it, follow its recitation; then, indeed, upon Us is its explanation. 19

فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ

No indeed! But you love the immediate life, and leave behind the Hereafter. 21

كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ

البزي قنبل الدوري السوسي

Some faces, that Day, will be radiant, looking toward their Guardian. 23

وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ

And some faces, that Day, will be gloomy, thinking that a great calamity is about to befall them. 25

وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ

No indeed! When it reaches the collarbones, and it is said, "Who will cure him?" and he becomes certain that it is the parting, and the leg is wound about the leg — to your Guardian, that Day, will be the drive. 30

كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍۢ وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ

For he had not believed, nor made contact,i 31

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ

but he denied and turned away, 32

وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

then he went to his people, walking in vain pride. 33

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

Woe to you, and woe! Then woe to you, and woe! 35

أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ

Does man think that he will be left neglected? 36

أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى

Was he not a drop of ejected semen? Then he was a clinging clot; then He created and proportioned him, and made of him two mates, the male and the female. 39

أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ

ورش شعبة قالون البزي قنبل الدوري السوسي

Is that One not able to give life to the dead? 40

أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْـِۧىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
