Sourate At-Takwir (81) vowelled

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. When the sun is wrapped up, and when the stars scatter, and when the mountains are set in motion, and when the pregnant camels are neglected, and when the wild beasts are gathered, and when the seas are set on fire, and when the Selves are paired, and when the girl buried alive is asked for what wrong she was killed, and when the scrolls are laid open, and when the sky is stripped away, and when the Hellfire is set ablaze, and when the Garden is brought near, a Self will know what it has brought forward.i 14

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍۢ قُتِلَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

So I do not need to swear by the retreating stars, those that run their courses and hide, and by the night when it darkens, and by the dawn when it breathes: indeed, it is the word of a noble messenger, endowed with power, secure with the Lord of the Edifice, obeyed there, trustworthy.i 21

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍۢ مُّطَاعٍۢ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍۢ

And your companion is not insane. 22

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍۢ

And he certainly saw him on the clear horizon. 23

وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

And he does not withhold anything of what escapes the senses.i 24

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍۢ

البزي قنبل الدوري السوسي

And it is not the word of an outcast Diverter. So where are you going?i 26

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ رَّجِيمٍۢ فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ

It is not but a reminder to all beings, for whoever wills among you to take a right course.i 28

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ

And you do not will except that God wills, Guardian of all beings. 29

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
