سورة 82
۞
Al-Infitar
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. When the sky breaks apart, and when the stars scatter, and when the seas erupt, and when the graves are overturned, a Self will know what it has put forward and kept back.i 5
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ -
O mankind! What has deceived you concerning your Guardian, the Generous, who created you, then proportioned you, then balanced you? In whatever form He willed, He assembled you. 8
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ -
No! Rather, you deny the Recompense, while indeed, over you are keepers, noble scribes, who know what you do. 12
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ كِرَامًۭا كَٰتِبِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ -
Indeed, the righteous will be in delight. 13
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ -
And indeed, the corrupt will be in Hellfire; they will burn in it on the Day of Recompense, and they will not be absent from it.i 16
وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ -
And what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is? Then, what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ -
The Day no Self will possess a thing for another Self. 19
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا -
And the command, that Day, is entirely God's. 19
وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ
