Sourate At-Tariq (86) vowelled

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sky and the night comer! And what can make you know what the night comer is? It is the piercing star. There is no Self but has a guardian over it.i 4

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ

So let man observe from what he was created. 5

فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ

He was created from a fluid, ejected, emerging from between the loins and the bodily stock.i 7

خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍۢ دَافِقٍۢ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ

Indeed, He is capable of his return, the Day when secrets will be put to the test; then he will have no power nor any helper. 10

إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍۢ وَلَا نَاصِرٍۢ

By the sky which returns! And by the earth which cracks open! Indeed, it is a decisive word, and it is no frivolity. 14

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌۭ فَصْلٌۭ وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ

Indeed, they plot a plot, and I plot a plot. 16

إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا

So concede a respite to the rejecters of truth; respite them a little. 17

فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
