سورة 87
۞
Al-A'la
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Glorify the name of your Guardian, the Most High, who created and harmonized, and who destined and guided, and who brought forth the pasture, and then made it dark stubble.i 5
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ -
We will make you read so you shall not forget, except what God wills. 7
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ -
Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7
إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ -
And We will ease you toward ease. 8
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ -
So remind, if the reminder should benefit. 9
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ -
He who fears will remember, and the most wretched will avoid it, who will burn in the greatest Fire, then neither dies therein nor lives. 13
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ -
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Guardian, and makes contact.i 15
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ -
But you prefer the present life, while the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ الدوري السوسي -
Indeed, this is in the former scrolls, the scrolls of Ibrahim and Moussa.i 19
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
