Sura 91 · 15 verses

Ash-Shams
Purify or Bury
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sun and its morning brightness! By the moon when it follows it! By the day when it displays it! By the night when it covers it! By the sky and what built it! By the earth and what spread it! By a Self, and what proportioned it, then inspired it with its transgression and its guardedness! He has succeeded who purifies it, and he has failed who buries it.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَاThe Thamud denied, in their excess, when the most wretched among them was raised up. The messenger of God said to them, "[Leave] the she-camel of God, and her watering!" But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Guardian brought their ruin for their offense and leveled it.
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا- 91:15🖼ورشقالون
And He does not fear its consequence.
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا
