سورة 96
۞
Al-Alaq
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Read, in the name of your Guardian who created,i 1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ -
who created man from a clinging thing. 2
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ -
Read! And your Guardian is the Most Noble, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know. 5
ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ -
No! Man truly transgresses, as soon as he sees himself self-sufficient. 7
كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰٓ -
Indeed, to your Guardian is the return. 8
إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ -
Have you seen the one who forbids a the obedient one when he makes contact?i 10
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ -
Have you seen if he is upon guidance, or enjoins guardedness?i 12
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ أَوْ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقْوَىٰٓ -
Have you seen if he denies and turns away? Does he not know that God sees? 14
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ -
No! If he does not desist, We will seize him violently by the forelock, a lying, sinning forelock! 16
كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ نَاصِيَةٍۢ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍۢ -
Then let him call his assembly; We will call the Zabaniya. 18
فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ -
No! Do not obey him, but prostrate and draw near. 19
كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب
