Al-Bayyina
Divided After the Proof
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators were not to separate until the Clear Proof came to them:
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُa messenger from God, reciting purified pages, containing upright writings.
رَسُولٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًۭا مُّطَهَّرَةًۭ فِيهَا كُتُبٌۭ قَيِّمَةٌۭAnd those who were given the Scripture did not become divided except after the Clear Proof came to them.
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُAnd they were not commanded except to obey God, devoting to Him exclusively their Law, in true uprightness, and to maintain the Contact and give the purifying alms.
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَAnd that is the Law of the upright.
وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِThose who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators will be in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein eternally. Those are the worst of those brought into existence.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِThose who have believed and done righteous deeds, those are the best of those brought into existence.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِTheir recompense, with their Guardian, is the gardens of permanent abode beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, forever.
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭاGod is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him.
رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُThat is for whoever dreads his Guardian.
ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
