Al-Bayyina
Divided After the Proof
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators were not to separate until the Clear Proof came to them:
بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ لَمْ يَكُنِ اِ۬لذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ اِ۬لْكِتَٰبِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ اُ۬لْبَيِّنَةُۖ
a messenger from God, reciting purified chronicles, containing upright writings.
رَسُولٞ مِّنَ اَ۬للَّهِ يَتْلُواْ صُحُفاٗ مُّطَهَّرَةٗ فِيهَا كُتُبٞ قَيِّمَةٞۖ
And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided except after the Clear Proof came to them.
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ اَ۬لذِينَ أُوتُواْ اُ۬لْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ اُ۬لْبَيِّنَةُۖ
And they were not commanded except to obey God, devoting the Law exclusively to Him, wholly turned toward Him, and to maintain the Contact and give pure liberality.
وَمَا أُمِرُواْ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ اُ۬للَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ اُ۬لدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ اُ۬لصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ اُ۬لزَّكَوٰةَۖ
And that is the Law of uprightness.
وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ اُ۬لْقَيِّمَةِۖ
Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators will indeed be in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein eternally. Those are the worst of those brought into existence.
إِنَّ اَ۬لذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ اِ۬لْكِتَٰبِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِے نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ اُ۬لْبَرِيَٓٔةِۖ
Those who have believed and done sound deeds, those are the best of those brought into existence.
إِنَّ اَ۬لذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ اُ۬لصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ اُ۬لْبَرِيَٓٔةِۖ
Their recompense, with their Guardian, is the Gardens of permanence beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, forever.
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٖ تَجْرِے مِن تَحْتِهَا اَ۬لْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَداٗۖ
God is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him.
رَّضِيَ اَ۬للَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُۖ
That is for whoever dreads his Guardian.
ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥۖ
