At-Tariq

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sky and the night comer! And what will give you an idea of what the night comer is? The star of piercing brightness. There is no Self but has a preserver over it.

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَمَآ أَدْر۪يٰكَ مَا اَ۬لطَّارِقُ اُ۬لنَّجْمُ اُ۬لثَّاقِبُ إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٖ لَّمَا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٞۖ

So let the human being look at what he was created from.

فَلْيَنظُرِ اِ۬لِانسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَۖ

He was created from a gushing water, emerging from between the loins and the bosom.

خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٖ دَافِقٖ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ اِ۬لصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَآئِبِۖ

Surely, He is capable of his return, the Day when secrets will be tested; then he will have no power nor any help.

إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٞ يَوْمَ تُبْلَى اَ۬لسَّرَآئِرُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٖ وَلَا نَاصِرٖۖ

By the sky which returns! And by the earth which cracks open! Surely, it is a saying that separates, and it is no frivolity.

وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ اِ۬لرَّجْعِ وَالَارْضِ ذَاتِ اِ۬لصَّدْعِ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٞ فَصْلٞ وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِۖ

Indeed, they scheme a scheme, and I scheme a scheme.

إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْداٗ وَأَكِيدُ كَيْداٗۖ

So grant a respite to those who disown, grant them a short respite.

فَمَهِّلِ اِ۬لْكٰ۪فِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْداٗۖ
