Ash-Shams

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sun and its morning brightness! By the moon when it comes in its wake! By the day when it unveils it! By the night when it covers it! By the sky and what built it! By the earth and what spread it! By a Self, and what proportioned it, then inspired it with its depravity and its guardedness! He has certainly succeeded who purifies it, and he has certainly failed who buries it.

بِسْمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحْمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَيٰهَا وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَيٰهَا وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّيٰهَا وَاليْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَيٰهَا وَالسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَيٰهَا وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَيٰهَا وَنَفْسٖ وَمَا سَوَّيٰهَا فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَيٰهَا قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّيٰهَا وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّيٰهَاۖ

The Thamud denied, in their immoderation, when the most wretched among them was raised up. The messenger of God said to them, "The she-camel of God, and her watering!" But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Guardian pounded them for their offense and leveled them.

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَيٰهَا إِذِ اِ۪نۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَيٰهَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اُ۬للَّهِ نَاقَةَ اَ۬للَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّيٰهَاۖ

So He does not fear its outcome.

فَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَاۖ
