En el nombre de Dios, el Todo-Benevolente, el Benevolente. El Estruendo. ¿Qué es el Estruendo?
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
¿Y quién te dará idea de qué es el Estruendo?
وَمَآ أَدۡرٜىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
El día en que los hombres sean como mariposas dispersas, y en que las montañas sean como lana cardada.
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
En cuanto a aquel cuyas balanzas sean pesadas, estará en una existencia satisfactoria.
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
Y en cuanto a aquel cuyas balanzas sean ligeras, tendrá el Abismo como morada.
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
¿Y quién te dará idea de qué es eso?
وَمَآ أَدۡرٜىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Un fuego ardiente.
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
