En el nombre de Dios, el Todo-Benevolente, el Benevolente. ¡Por la claridad matutina! ¡Por la noche cuando se aquieta! Tu Tutor no te ha desamparado ni te ha aborrecido.
بِسۡمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحۡمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ وَاَلضُّحۭيٰ وَاَلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجۭيٰ مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلۭيٰ
Y la vida última será mucho mejor para ti que la primera.
وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ اَ۬لۡأُولۭيٰ
Y tu Tutor te conferirá ciertamente Sus dotaciones, y quedarás satisfecho.
وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضۭيٰ
¿No te ha hallado huérfano, y luego acogido? ¿No te ha hallado extraviado, y luego guiado? ¿No te ha hallado desprovisto, y luego enriquecido?
أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوۭيٰ وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدۭيٰ وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنۭيٰ
En cuanto al huérfano, no lo oprimas pues.
فَأَمَّا اَ۬لۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ
Y en cuanto al demandante, no lo reprendas.
وَأَمَّا اَ۬لسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ
Y en cuanto al beneficio de tu Tutor, nárralo.
وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ
