بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
به نام خدا، بی‌اندازه مهربان، مهربان.
رقابت برای انباشتن شما را سرگرم کرد، تا آنکه به گورها سر زدید.
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
نه چنین! به‌زودی خواهید دانست. سپس، نه چنین! به‌زودی خواهید دانست.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
نه چنین! کاش می‌دانستید، با دانشی یقینی.
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
بی‌گمان کوره را خواهید دید. سپس بی‌گمان آن را با چشمِ یقین خواهید دید. سپس بی‌گمان، در آن روز، دربارهٔ دهش پرسیده خواهید شد.
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
