109:1–3

Em nome de Deus, o Todo-Benevolente, o Benevolente. Dize: «Ó vós que renegais! Eu não obedeço ao que obedeceis, e vós não sois, vós, obedientes ao que eu obedeço.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلۡ يَٰأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ لَا أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ وَلَا أَنتُمُۥ عَٰبِدُونَ مَا أَعۡبُدُ

109:4–5

E eu não sou, eu, obediente ao que obedecestes, e vós não sois, vós, obedientes ao que eu obedeço.

وَلَا أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمُۥ وَلَا أَنتُمُۥ عَٰبِدُونَ مَا أَعۡبُدُ

109:6

Para vós a vossa Lei, e para mim a minha Lei.»

لَكُمُۥ دِينُكُمُۥ وَلِي دِينِ
