Em nome de Deus, o Todo-Benevolente, o Benevolente. O Fragor. O que é o Fragor?
بِسۡمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحۡمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ اِ۬لۡقَارِعَةُ مَا اَ۬لۡقَارِعَةُ
E quem te dará ideia do que é o Fragor?
وَمَآ أَدۡر۪ىٰكَ مَا اَ۬لۡقَارِعَةُ
O dia em que os homens serão como borboletas dispersas, e em que as montanhas serão como lã cardada.
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ اُ۬لنَّاسُ كَاَلۡفَرَاشِ اِ۬لۡمَبۡثُوثِ وَتَكُونُ اُ۬لۡجِبَالُ كَاَلۡعِهۡنِ اِ۬لۡمَنفُوشِ
Quanto àquele cujas balanças forem pesadas, ele estará numa existência satisfatória.
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَهۡوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
E quanto àquele cujas balanças forem leves, ele terá o Abismo por morada.
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
E quem te dará ideia do que é?
وَمَآ أَدۡر۪ىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Um fogo candente.
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
