In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sky containing constellations! And by the promised Day! And by a witness and what is witnessed! May the companions of the trench perish, of the fire richly fueled, when they sat around it, and were witnesses to what they were doing to the believers.
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ إِذۡ هُمُۥ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ وَهُمُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
And they resented them for nothing except that they believed in God, the All-Powerful, the Praiseworthy, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth.
وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمُۥ إِلَّا أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
And God is witness over all things.
وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
Indeed, those who put to trial the believing men and believing women and then did not repent will have the punishment of Jahannam, and they will have the punishment of the burning fire.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمُۥ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمُۥ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
Indeed, those who have believed and done sound deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمُۥ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ
That is the great triumph.
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Surely, the strike of your Guardian is severe.
إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
Indeed, it is He who begins and remakes.
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
And He is the Most-Forgiving, the Loving, Holder of the Edifice,
وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
the Glorious, ever doing what He wants.
ٱلۡمَجِيدُ فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
Has the discourse concerning the armies, of Fir'awn and the Thamud, reached you?
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ
Rather, those who have disowned persist in denial, and God encompasses them from behind.
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِمُۥ مُحِيطُۢ
Rather, it is a glorious Recitation, upon a Preserved Tablet.
بَلۡ هُوَ قُرَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ
