You Will Relapse
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Ḥa. Mim.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم حمBy the clear Scripture! We sent it down in a blessed night; We are warners.
والكتب المبين انا انزلنه في ليله مبركه انا كنا منذرينIn it, every wise matter is decided, a command from Us.
فيها يفرق كل امر حكيم امرا من عندناWe are indeed senders [of Our messengers], a benevolence from your Guardian.
انا كنا مرسلين رحمه من ربكIt is indeed He, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
انه هو السميع العليمthe Guardian of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you have certainty.
رب السموت والارض وما بينهما ان كنتم موقنينThere is no deity but Him.
لا اله الا هوHe gives life and causes death,
يحي ويميتyour Guardian and the Guardian of your forefathers.
ربكم ورب ابايكم الاولينBut they play in doubt.
بل هم في شك يلعبونSo watch for the day when the sky brings a clear smoke that envelops the people,
فارتقب يوم تاتي السما بدخان مبين يغشي الناسthis is a painful punishment.
هذا عذاب اليم"Our Guardian, remove the punishment from us; we believe."
ربنا اكشف عنا العذاب انا مومنونHow would the reminder benefit them, when a clear messenger had come to them, then they turned away from him and said: "One taught [by others], deranged"?
اني لهم الذكري وقد جاهم رسول مبين ثم تولوا عنه وقالوا معلم مجنونWe will indeed remove the punishment for a little while,
انا كاشفوا العذاب قليلاbut you will indeed relapse.
انكم عايدونThe day We strike the greatest Strike,
يوم نبطش البطشه الكبريWe will indeed take vengeance.
انا منتقمونBefore them, We tried the people of Fir'awn, and a noble messenger came to them: "Hand over to me the obedient ones of God; I am for you a trustworthy messenger; and do not exalt yourselves against God — I bring you clear authority; and I take refuge in my Guardian and yours against your banishing me; and if you do not give me credit, then keep away from me."
ولقد فتنا قبلهم قوم فرعون وجاهم رسول كريم ان ادوا الي عباد الله اني لكم رسول امين وان لا تعلوا علي الله اني اتيكم بسلطن مبين واني عذت بربي وربكم ان ترجمون وان لم تومنوا لي فاعتزلونSo he called upon his Guardian: "These are a severed people."
فدعا ربه ان هولا قوم مجرمون"Set out with My obedient ones by night; you will be pursued. And leave the sea parted, still."
فاسر بعبادي ليلا انكم متبعون واترك البحر رهواThey are indeed an army that will be drowned.
انهم جند مغرقونHow many gardens and springs they left behind, and crops, and noble residences, and comforts in which they took delight.
كم تركوا من جنت وعيون وزروع ومقام كريم ونعمه كانوا فيها فكهينThus.
كذلكWe made another people inherit them.
واورثنها قوما اخرينNeither the sky nor the earth wept over them, and they were granted no reprieve.
فما بكت عليهم السما والارض وما كانوا منظرينWe saved the Sons of Israel from the humiliating punishment [coming] from Fir'awn.
ولقد نجينا بني اسريل من العذاب المهين من فرعونHe was indeed, among the excessive, a haughty one.
انه كان عاليا من المسرفينWe chose them, knowingly, above all beings, and We gave them, among the signs, that which held a clear testing.
ولقد اخترنهم علي علم علي العلمين واتينهم من الايت ما فيه بلوا مبينThese say: "There is nothing but our first death, and we will not be awakened. Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful."
ان هولا ليقولون ان هي الا موتتنا الاولي وما نحن بمنشرين فاتوا باباينا ان كنتم صدقينAre they better, or the people of Tubba'?
اهم خير ام قوم تبعAnd those before them — We annihilated them.
والذين من قبلهم اهلكنهمThey were indeed a severed people.
انهم كانوا مجرمينWe did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in play.
وما خلقنا السموت والارض وما بينهما لعبينWe created them only with truth,
ما خلقنهما الا بالحقbut most of them do not know.
ولكن اكثرهم لا يعلمونThe Day of Separation is the appointed time for them all — a day when no guarantor will be of any use to [another] guarantor, and they will not be helped, except those on whom God has benevolence.
ان يوم الفصل ميقتهم اجمعين يوم لا يغني مولي عن مولي شيا ولا هم ينصرون الا من رحم اللهHe is indeed the All-Powerful, the Benevolent.
انه هو العزيز الرحيمIndeed, the tree of Zaqqoum is the food of the hardened transgressor; like molten metal, it boils in the bellies as boiling water boils.
ان شجرت الزقوم طعام الاثيم كالمهل يغلي في البطون كغلي الحميم"Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Blaze, then pour over his head the punishment of boiling water. Taste!"
خذوه فاعتلوه الي سوا الجحيم ثم صبوا فوق راسه من عذاب الحميم ذق"You, yes you, the mighty, the noble!"
انك انت العزيز الكريمThis is indeed what you used to doubt.
ان هذا ما كنتم به تمترونThose who guard themselves will be in a secure place, in gardens and springs, dressed in fine silk and brocade, facing one another.
ان المتقين في مقام امين في جنت وعيون يلبسون من سندس واستبرق متقبلينThus.
كذلكWe will unite them with companions of listening and support.
وزوجنهم بحور عينThey will call therein for every fruit, secure.
يدعون فيها بكل فكهه امنينThey will not taste death therein,
لا يذوقون فيها الموتexcept the first death.
الا الموته الاوليHe will have shielded them from the punishment of the Blaze, as a favor from your Guardian.
ووقيهم عذاب الجحيم فضلا من ربكThat is the immense triumph.
ذلك هو الفوز العظيمWe have only made it easy in your tongue, so that they may remember.
فانما يسرنه بلسانك لعلهم يتذكرونSo watch,
فارتقبthey too are watching.
انهم مرتقبون
