Ten Times the Same Verdict
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By those sent forth in succession, and those scattering violently, and those deploying far and wide, and those separating distinctly, and those delivering a reminder, as justification or as warning: indeed, what you are promised will surely occur.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والمرسلت عرفا فالعصفت عصفا والنشرت نشرا فالفرقت فرقا فالملقيت ذكرا عذرا او نذرا انما توعدون لوقعSo when the stars are obliterated, and when the sky is split open, and when the mountains are blasted away, and when the messengers' time is set — for what Day were they deferred? For the Day of Separation.
فاذا النجوم طمست واذا السما فرجت واذا الجبال نسفت واذا الرسل اقتت لاي يوم اجلت ليوم الفصلand what will give you an idea of what the Day of Separation is?
وما ادريك ما يوم الفصلWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينDid We not annihilate the former peoples?
الم نهلك الاولينThen We will make the later ones follow them.
ثم نتبعهم الاخرينThus do We deal with the severed.
كذلك نفعل بالمجرمينWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينDid We not create you from a lowly water? Then We placed it in a firm lodging, until a known measure; We determined —
الم نخلقكم من ما مهين فجعلنه في قرار مكين الي قدر معلوم فقدرناand excellent are We at determining!
فنعم القدرونWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينHave We not made the earth a gathering place, for the living and the dead? And placed therein firmly anchored, lofty [mountains], and given you fresh water to drink?
الم نجعل الارض كفاتا احيا واموتا وجعلنا فيها روسي شمخت واسقينكم ما فراتاWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينDepart to that which you used to deny! Depart to a shadow of three branches, neither shading nor availing against the flame.
انطلقوا الي ما كنتم به تكذبون انطلقوا الي ظل ذي ثلث شعب لا ظليل ولا يغني من اللهبIt throws up sparks as huge as palaces, as though they were yellow camels.
انها ترمي بشرر كالقصر كانه جملت صفرWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينThis is the Day they will utter nothing, nor will they be permitted to make excuses.
هذا يوم لا ينطقون ولا يوذن لهم فيعتذرونWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينThis is the Day of Separation; We have gathered you and the former peoples. So if you have a scheme, then scheme against Me!
هذا يوم الفصل جمعنكم والاولين فان كان لكم كيد فكيدونWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينIndeed, those who guarded themselves will be amid shades and springs, and savoury fruits of whatever they desire:
ان المتقين في ظلل وعيون وفوكه مما يشتهون"Eat and drink
كلوا واشربواpleasantly, for what you used to do."
هنيا بما كنتم تعملونThus indeed do We recompense those who do good.
انا كذلك نجزي المحسنينWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبين"Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are severed."
كلوا وتمتعوا قليلا انكم مجرمونWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينAnd when it is said to them, "Kneel," they do not kneel.
واذا قيل لهم اركعوا لا يركعونWoe, that Day, to the deniers!
ويل يوميذ للمكذبينIn what discourse, after this one, will they then believe?
