سورة 85
۞
Al-Buruj
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sky containing constellations! And by the promised Day! And by a witness and what is witnessed! Destroyed were the people of the trench, of the fire richly fueled, when they sat around it, and were witnesses to what they were doing to the believers.i 7
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والسما ذات البروج واليوم الموعود وشاهد ومشهود قتل اصحب الاخدود النار ذات الوقود اذ هم عليها قعود وهم علي ما يفعلون بالمومنين شهود -
And they resented them only because they believed in God, the All-Powerful, the Praiseworthy, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth.i 9
وما نقموا منهم الا ان يومنوا بالله العزيز الحميد الذي له ملك السموت والارض -
And God is Witness over all things. 9
والله علي كل شي شهيد -
Indeed, those who tormented the believing men and believing women and then did not repent will have the punishment of Jahannam, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10
ان الذين فتنوا المومنين والمومنت ثم لم يتوبوا فلهم عذاب جهنم ولهم عذاب الحريق -
Indeed, those who believed and did righteous deeds will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow. 11
ان الذين امنوا وعملوا الصلحت لهم جنت تجري من تحتها الانهر -
That is the great success. 11
ذلك الفوز الكبير -
Indeed, the strike of your Guardian is severe. 12
ان بطش ربك لشديد -
Indeed, it is He who originates and remakes. 13
انه هو يبدي ويعيد -
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, Lord of the Edifice,i 15
وهو الغفور الودود ذو العرش -
the Glorious, Doer of whatever He wills. 16
المجيد فعال لما يريد -
Has there reached you the account of the armies, of Fir'awn and Thamud?i 18
هل اتيك حديث الجنود فرعون وثمود -
Yet those who reject the truth persist in denial, and God encompasses them from behind. 20
بل الذين كفروا في تكذيب والله من ورايهم محيط -
Rather, it is a glorious Recitation, upon a Preserved Tablet. 22
بل هو قران مجيد في لوح محفوظ
