Sourate Al-Layl (92) original (rasm)

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the night when it envelops! By the day when it shines forth! By what created the male and the female! Your efforts are indeed diverse.i 4

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم واليل اذا يغشي والنهار اذا تجلي وما خلق الذكر والانثي ان سعيكم لشتي

As for the one who gives, and guards himself before his Lord, and affirms the best — We will ease him toward ease.i 7

فاما من اعطي واتقي وصدق بالحسني فسنيسره لليسري

But as for the one who withholds, and considers himself self-sufficient, and denies the best - We will ease him toward hardship. 10

واما من بخل واستغني وكذب بالحسني فسنيسره للعسري

And his wealth will not avail him when he falls. 11

وما يغني عنه ماله اذا تردي

Indeed, upon Us is the guidance, and indeed to Us belong the last and the first. 13

ان علينا للهدي وان لنا للاخره والاولي

So I have warned you of a blazing fire, in which none will burn except the most wretched, who denied and turned away. 16

فانذرتكم نارا تلظي لا يصليها الا الاشقي الذي كذب وتولي

And it will be kept away from the most righteous, who gives his wealth to purify himself, 18

وسيجنبها الاتقي الذي يوتي ماله يتزكي

and who seeks not, in any favor he grants, except the face of his Guardian, the Most High. 20

وما لاحد عنده من نعمه تجزي الا ابتغا وجه ربه الاعلي

And he will surely soon be satisfied.i 21
