Say: "We believe in God, in what has been revealed to us, in what was revealed to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Yaacoub, and the tribes, and in what was given to Moussa and Issa, and in what was given to the prophets, from their Guardian; we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we are true." 2:136

قُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ

It is prescribed for you, when death presents itself to one of you, if he leaves goods, 2:180

كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا

Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and vines, beneath which rivers flow, wherein he would have all kinds of fruits, then old age strikes him, while he has a weak offspring, and a whirlwind of fire strikes it, and it burns? 2:266

أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌۭ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَابٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلْكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّيَّةٌۭ ضُعَفَآءُ فَأَصَابَهَآ إِعْصَارٌۭ فِيهِ نَارٌۭ فَٱحْتَرَقَتْ

and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, from among those whose testimony you approve, so that if one of the two errs, the other may remind her. 2:282

فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُونَا رَجُلَيْنِ فَرَجُلٌۭ وَٱمْرَأَتَانِ مِمَّن تَرْضَوْنَ مِنَ ٱلشُّهَدَآءِ أَن تَضِلَّ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ

"We make no distinction between any of His messengers"; 2:285

لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ

Say: "The [true] guidance is the guidance of God" — [they say this] lest anyone be given the like of what you were given, or lest they dispute with you before your Guardian. 3:73

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْهُدَىٰ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ أَن يُؤْتَىٰٓ أَحَدٌۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَآجُّوكُمْ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ

Say: "We believe in God, in what has been revealed to us, in what was revealed to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Yaacoub, and the tribes, and in what was given to Moussa, to Issa, and to the prophets, from their Guardian; we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we are true." 3:84

قُلْ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ

Those who deny-disown and die while denying-disowning, there will never be accepted from any of them the whole earth filled with gold, even were he to offer it as ransom. 3:91

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌۭ فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِم مِّلْءُ ٱلْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًۭا وَلَوِ ٱفْتَدَىٰ بِهِۦٓ

remember when you were climbing [the hill], without turning back to anyone, while the messenger was calling you, at the rear of your ranks; He then rewarded you with anguish upon [another] anguish, so that you would not grieve either for what had escaped you, or for what had befallen you. 3:153

إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُۥنَ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍۢ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِىٓ أُخْرَىٰكُمْ فَأَثَٰبَكُمْ غَمًّۢا بِغَمٍّۢ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ

And repentance is not accepted for those who commit evil deeds until, when death presents itself to one of them, he says: "I turn back [to God] now" — nor for those who die while denying-disowning: 4:18

وَلَيْسَتِ ٱلتَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّى تُبْتُ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ وَلَا ٱلَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ

And if you want to replace one wife with another, and you have given one of them a treasure, take nothing of it back. 4:20

وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمُ ٱسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍۢ مَّكَانَ زَوْجٍۢ وَءَاتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَىٰهُنَّ قِنطَارًۭا فَلَا تَأْخُذُوا۟ مِنْهُ شَيْـًٔا

And if you are sick, or on a journey, or one of you has come from relieving himself, or you have known a woman in intimacy, and you find no water, then resort to clean earth, and wipe your faces and your hands with it. 4:43

وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰٓ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَآءَ أَحَدٌۭ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلْغَآئِطِ أَوْ لَٰمَسْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا۟ مَآءًۭ فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟ صَعِيدًۭا طَيِّبًۭا فَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُمْ

And those who have believed in God and His messengers, and have made no distinction between any of them, to those He will soon give their rewards. 4:152

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ سَوْفَ يُؤْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ

and gave you what He gave to none other among all beings. 5:20

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مَّا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

And recite to them, in truth, the information of the two sons of Adam, when each offered an offering: it was accepted from one, and was not accepted from the other. 5:27

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ٱبْنَىْ ءَادَمَ بِٱلْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًۭا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ ٱلْءَاخَرِ

O you who have believed! testimony between you, when death presents itself to one of you, at the time of the testament: two equitable [persons] among you, or two others, outside your circle, if you are traveling on the earth and the calamity of death strikes you. 5:106

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ شَهَٰدَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ حِينَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةِ ٱثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ ءَاخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصَٰبَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ

God said: "I am sending it down to you; but whoever among you denies-disowns thereafter, I will punish him with a punishment with which I will punish none other among all beings." 5:115

قَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّى مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّىٓ أُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًۭا لَّآ أُعَذِّبُهُۥٓ أَحَدًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

to the point that, when death comes to one of you, Our envoys take him back [to Him], never failing. 6:61

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لَا يُفَرِّطُونَ

And Lut, when he said to his people: "Do you commit the indecency that none, among all beings, has committed before you? 7:80

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

And when God promised you that one of the two groups would be yours, while you wished it would be the one without arms. 8:7

وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحْدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ

Announce to those who have denied-disowned a painful punishment — except those of the associators with whom you made a pact, and who then did not fail you in anything nor supported anyone against you: fulfill your pact toward them until its term. 9:4

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَمْ يُظَٰهِرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًۭا فَأَتِمُّوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ

And if one of the associators asks you for protection, protect him, until he hears the word of God, then convey him to his place of safety. 9:6

وَإِنْ أَحَدٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ٱسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُۥ

Say: "Do you await for us anything but one of the two best [outcomes]? 9:52

قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْدَى ٱلْحُسْنَيَيْنِ

And never seek the Contact for any of them who dies, and do not maintain yourself for his burial: 9:84

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُم مَّاتَ أَبَدًۭا وَلَا تَقُمْ عَلَىٰ قَبْرِهِۦٓ

And when a sourate is sent down, they look at one another: "Does anyone see you?" Then they slip away. 9:127

وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌۭ نَّظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ هَلْ يَرَىٰكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱنصَرَفُوا۟

So depart with your family, at a time of the night, and let none of you turn around, except your wife. 11:81

فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَكَ

[Recall] when Youssof said to his father: "O my father, I saw eleven stars, and the sun and the moon, 12:4

إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًۭا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ

One of them said: "I saw myself pressing wine." 12:36

قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰنِىٓ أَعْصِرُ خَمْرًۭا

O my two prison companions, one of you will pour wine for his master; 12:41

يَٰصَٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِى رَبَّهُۥ خَمْرًۭا

They said: "O Minister, he has a very old father; so take one of us in his place: we indeed see you among those who excel [in good]." 12:78

قَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ إِنَّ لَهُۥٓ أَبًۭا شَيْخًۭا كَبِيرًۭا فَخُذْ أَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهُۥٓ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

So depart with your family, at a time of the night, and follow behind them, and let none of you turn around, and go where you are commanded." 15:65

فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌۭ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ

And when one of them receives the news of a daughter, his face darkens, and he is filled with suppressed distress; he hides himself from the people, because of the ill news he was given: 16:59

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌۭ يَتَوَٰرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ مِن سُوٓءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِۦٓ

And God multiplies another example: two men, one of whom is mute, possessing no power at all, an entire burden upon his master; wherever he sends him, he brings back nothing good — is that one the equal of one who commands justice and stands upon a straight path? 16:76

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَىٰهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

If either of them, or both, reach old age with you, do not say to them "ugh!" and do not rebuke them, 17:23

إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفٍّۢ وَلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا

They said: "Your Guardian knows best how long you have stayed; so send one of you, with this note, to the Capital, and let him see which of its foods is purest, and let him bring you provision from it, and let him act with discretion, 18:19

قَالُوا۟ رَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثْتُمْ فَٱبْعَثُوٓا۟ أَحَدَكُم بِوَرِقِكُمْ هَٰذِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَنظُرْ أَيُّهَآ أَزْكَىٰ طَعَامًۭا فَلْيَأْتِكُم بِرِزْقٍۢ مِّنْهُ وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ

and let no one notice you in any way. 18:19

وَلَا يُشْعِرَنَّ بِكُمْ أَحَدًا

So do not dispute about them except in an apparent dispute, and do not consult anyone among them about them. 18:22

فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَآءًۭ ظَٰهِرًۭا وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًۭا

and He associates no one with His judgment." 18:26

وَلَا يُشْرِكُ فِى حُكْمِهِۦٓ أَحَدًۭا

Multiply for them an example: two men; to one of them We gave two gardens of vines, which We surrounded with palm trees, and between which We placed cultivated fields. 18:32

وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَحَفَفْنَٰهُمَا بِنَخْلٍۢ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًۭا

As for me, He is God, my Guardian, and I associate no one with my Guardian. 18:38

لَّٰكِنَّا۠ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِرَبِّىٓ أَحَدًۭا

And his fruits were surrounded [by ruin], so that he began wringing his hands over what he had spent on it, while it [the garden] was empty despite its edifices, and he was saying: "Would that I had associated no one with my Guardian!" 18:42

وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصْبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُشْرِكْ بِرَبِّىٓ أَحَدًۭا

The Day We set the mountains in motion, and you see the earth laid bare, and We gather them, leaving out not one of them. 18:47

وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ ٱلْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى ٱلْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةًۭ وَحَشَرْنَٰهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًۭا

and your Guardian wrongs no one. 18:49

وَلَا يَظْلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدًۭا

So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Guardian, let him do a righteous deed and associate no one in the service of his Guardian." 18:110

فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ لِقَآءَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًۭا صَٰلِحًۭا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَحَدًۢا

If you see anyone among the humans, say: "I have vowed to the All-Benevolent a silence; so I shall not speak today to any human." 19:26

فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْبَشَرِ أَحَدًۭا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًۭا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّۭا

How many a generation before them We have destroyed! Do you perceive a single one of them, or hear from them the faintest murmur? 19:98

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا

Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: My Guardian, send me back, that I may act righteously in that which I left. Never! 23:100

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱرْجِعُونِ لَعَلِّىٓ أَعْمَلُ صَٰلِحًۭا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّآ

And those who accuse their spouses, having no witnesses except themselves, the testimony of one of them shall be four oaths by God that he is indeed among the truthful, and the fifth, that the curse of God be upon him if he is among the liars. 24:7

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَآءُ إِلَّآ أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَٰدَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

And were it not for the favor of God upon you, His benevolence, not one of you would ever have been purified, 24:21

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًۭا

If you find no one therein, do not enter until you are given permission; 24:28

فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا۟ فِيهَآ أَحَدًۭا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا حَتَّىٰ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ

One of the two came to him, walking with reserved modesty. 28:25

فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍۢ

One of the two said: "O my father, hire him; 28:26

قَالَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱسْتَـْٔجِرْهُ

He said: "I wish to marry you to one of these two daughters of mine, on condition that you serve me for eight years; 28:27

قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ٱبْنَتَىَّ هَٰتَيْنِ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَأْجُرَنِى ثَمَٰنِىَ حِجَجٍۢ

And Lut, when he said to his people: "You surely commit indecency such as no one among all beings has committed before you; do you really approach men, cut off the road [to travelers], and commit, in your gatherings, what is disavowed?" 29:29

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِى نَادِيكُمُ ٱلْمُنكَرَ

O wives of the Prophet, you are not like any other of women, if you guard yourselves [before Him]. 33:32

يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِىِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِنِ ٱتَّقَيْتُنَّ

Those who deliver God's messages, and fear Him, and fear no one but God — 33:39

ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, 33:40

مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ

and were they to cease, none besides Him could hold them. 35:41

وَلَئِن زَالَتَآ إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ

And they swore by God their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would surely be better guided than any of the communities. 35:42

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ لَئِن جَآءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى ٱلْأُمَمِ

He said: "My Guardian, forgive me, and grant me a kingdom that will not befit anyone after me; 38:35

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ

Yet when one of them is given the glad tidings of what he himself sets up as an example for the All-Benevolent, his face turns dark, and he is filled with suppressed rage. 43:17

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًۭا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

If one of the two commits aggression against the other, fight the one that commits aggression until it returns to the command of God. 49:9

فَإِنۢ بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِى تَبْغِى حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ

Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would detest it. 49:12

أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًۭا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ

Have you not seen the hypocrites saying to their brothers who, among the People of the Scripture, deny the truth: If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will never obey anyone against you; and if you are fought, we will surely help you. 59:11

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَئِنْ أُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمْ أَحَدًا أَبَدًۭا وَإِن قُوتِلْتُمْ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ

And spend from what We have provided you before death comes to one of you, and he says: My Guardian, if only You would delay me for a short term, that I might give charity and be among the righteous. 63:10

وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

And had he attributed to Us some fabricated sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand, then severed his aorta, and not one of you could have shielded him from Us. 69:47

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَٰجِزِينَ

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Say, "It has been revealed to me that a group of the Occulted listened, and they said: Indeed, we have heard an amazing recitation, that guides to righteousness, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Guardian. 72:2

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًۭا يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًۭا

And that they thought, as you thought, that God would never raise anyone up. 72:7

وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًۭا

And that the places of prostration belong to God, so do not invoke besides God anyone. 72:18

وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًۭا

Say, "I only invoke my Guardian and do not associate with Him anyone." 72:20

قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدًۭا

Say, "No one can protect me from God, and I will never find besides Him a refuge — except a notification from God and His messages." 72:23

قُلْ إِنِّى لَن يُجِيرَنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٌۭ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلْتَحَدًا إِلَّا بَلَٰغًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦ

[He is] Knower of what escapes the senses, and He discloses none of it to anyone, except a messenger He has approved of. He then sends before him and behind him a watch, so that He may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Guardian; and He encompasses whatever is with them and enumerates all things with exactness. 72:28

عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍۢ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًۭا لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا۟ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عَدَدًۢا

No indeed! By the moon, and the night as it departs, and the dawn as it shines forth — indeed, it is one of the greatest signs, a warning to humanity, to whoever among you wills to advance or to remain behind. 74:37

كَلَّا وَٱلْقَمَرِ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَآ أَسْفَرَ إِنَّهَا لَإِحْدَى ٱلْكُبَرِ نَذِيرًۭا لِّلْبَشَرِ لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ

That Day, none will punish as He punishes, and none will bind as He binds. 89:26

فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ

Does he think that no one will ever have power over him? He says, "I have squandered vast wealth!" 90:6

أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌۭ يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًۭا لُّبَدًا

Does he think that no one has seen him? 90:7

أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّمْ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ

and who seeks not, in any favor he grants, except the face of his Guardian, the Most High. 92:20

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Say: He is God, the Absolute Singularity. 112:1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

And none is His counterpart. 112:4

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
