Look how We detail the signs to them, then look how they are turned away! 5:75
ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرْ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ -
How then can you be turned away? 6:95
فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ -
and behold, it swallowed up what they had forged by falsehood. 7:117
فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ -
How then are they turned away? 9:30
أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ -
How then can you be turned away from the truth?" 10:34
فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ -
Those who came with the calumny are a group from among you; do not think it is an evil for you, 24:11
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو بِٱلْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌۭ مِّنكُمْ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّۭا لَّكُم -
If only, upon hearing it, the believing men and women had thought well of themselves, and had said: This is a manifest calumny! 24:12
لَّوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًۭا وَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ -
Those who deny say: This is nothing but a fabrication he invented, and another group helped him with it. 25:4
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ -
Then Moussa threw his staff, and behold, it swallowed up what they had fabricated as illusion. 26:45
فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ -
Shall I inform you upon whom the Diverters descend? They descend upon every inveterate liar, laden with transgressions, who lend an ear, and most of them are liars. 26:223
هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍۢ يُلْقُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَٰذِبُونَ -
You obey, apart from God, only idols, and you fabricate a falsehood; 29:17
إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْثَٰنًۭا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا -
how then are they turned away [from the truth]? 29:61
فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ -
thus were they turned away [from the truth]. 30:55
كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْفَكُونَ -
And when Our verses are recited to them, clear, they say, "This is nothing but a man who wants to turn you away from what your ancestors used to obey"; and they say, "This is nothing but a fabricated lie." 34:43
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا رَجُلٌۭ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّفْتَرًۭى -
How then are you turned away [from the truth]? 35:3
فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ -
Is it a lie — do you desire gods besides God? 37:86
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ -
Is it not that, out of their own falsehood, they say: "God has begotten"? They are indeed liars. 37:152
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ -
how then are you turned away? 40:62
فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ -
Thus are turned away those who used to deny the signs of God. 40:63
كَذَٰلِكَ يُؤْفَكُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ -
How then are they turned away [from the truth]? 43:87
فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ -
Woe to every transgressive liar, who hears the signs of God recited to him, then persists arrogantly, as if he had not heard them. 45:8
وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍۢ يَسْمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًۭا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا -
And since they are not guided by it, they will say: "This is an ancient falsehood." 46:11
وَإِذْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَسَيَقُولُونَ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌۭ قَدِيمٌۭ -
They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away by falsehood from our gods? Then bring us what you promise us, if you are among the truthful." 46:22
قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ -
and that was their falsehood and what they used to invent. 46:28
وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ -
By the sky of interwoven paths! You are indeed in differing speech: turned away from it is whoever is turned away. 51:9
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ -
How are they deluded! 63:4
أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
