• There are indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, in the alternation of night and day, in the ship that sails at sea laden with what benefits mankind, in the water that God sends down from the sky and by which He gives life to the earth after its death, spreading in it every kind of living being, in the diversity of the winds, and in the cloud subjected between the sky and the earth — signs for a people who reason. 2:164

  إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلَّتِى تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٍۢ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍۢ وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ

• In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. O mankind! guard yourselves toward your Guardian, who created you from a single Self, and created from it its spouse, and spread, from the two of them, many men and women. 4:1

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًۭا كَثِيرًۭا وَنِسَآءًۭ

• He said: "I complain of my anguish and my grief only to God, 12:86

  قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَشْكُوا۟ بَثِّى وَحُزْنِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ

• and He placed on the earth firm anchors, lest it shake with you, and He scattered upon it every kind of living being; 31:10

  وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍۢ

• And among His signs: the creation of the heavens and the earth, and whatever living creatures He has scattered throughout them; 42:29

  وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ

• And in your creation, and in the creatures He scatters about, are signs for a people who have certainty; and in the alternation of night and day, and what God sends down from the sky as provision, by which He revives the earth after its death, and in the shifting of the winds, are signs for a people who reason. 45:5

  وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍۢ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ

• Abasing [some], exalting [others] — when the earth is shaken with a violent shaking, and the mountains are crushed to powder, becoming scattered dust, and you become three categories. 56:7

  خَافِضَةٌۭ رَّافِعَةٌ إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّۭا وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّۭا فَكَانَتْ هَبَآءًۭ مُّنۢبَثًّۭا وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ

• Therein are raised couches, and cups set out, and cushions lined up, and carpets spread out. 88:16

  فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ

• The Day when people will be like scattered moths, and the mountains will be like carded wool. 101:5

  يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
