• And guard yourselves against a day when no Self will avail another Self in anything, when no intercession will be accepted from it, when no compensation will be taken from it, and when they will not be helped. 2:48

  وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

• What, then, is the reward of whoever among you acts thus, but disgrace in the present life? 2:85

  فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْىٌۭ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا

• And guard yourselves against a day when no Self will avail another Self in anything, when no compensation will be accepted from it, when no intercession will benefit it, and when they will not be helped. 2:123

  وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

• such is the reward of those who deny-disown. 2:191

  كَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

• Those are the ones whose reward is that upon them will weigh the curse of God, the Agents, and mankind, all together, wherein they will abide eternally; the punishment will not be lightened for them, and they will not be granted a delay — except those who turn back [to God] after that, and reform: God is indeed Most-Forgiving, full of benevolence. 3:89

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ

• Those are the ones whose reward is a forgiveness from their Guardian, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. 3:136

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا

• and God will reward the grateful. 3:144

  وَسَيَجْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

• We will reward the grateful. 3:145

  وَسَنَجْزِى ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

• And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his reward is Jahannam, wherein he will abide eternally; God is angered against him, has cursed him, and has prepared for him an immense punishment. 4:93

  وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًۭا مُّتَعَمِّدًۭا فَجَزَآؤُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ خَٰلِدًۭا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُۥ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُۥ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًۭا

• Whoever commits an evil will be rewarded for it, and will find, besides God, neither protector nor helper. 4:123

  مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًۭا يُجْزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّۭا وَلَا نَصِيرًۭا

• that is the reward of the unjust." 5:29

  وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• The only reward of those who wage war against God and His Messenger, and strive to sow corruption on the earth, is that they be killed, or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the earth. 5:33

  إِنَّمَا جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓا۟ أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوٓا۟ أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ

• And as for the thief, male and female, stop their supports, as a reward for what they have earned, as an exemplary punishment from God. 5:38

  وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقْطَعُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَٰلًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ

• That is the reward of those who do good. 5:85

  وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• And whoever among you kills it intentionally, an equivalent compensation in cattle, as two equitable [persons] among you shall decide, as an offering reaching the Ka'ba, or an expiation consisting of feeding the destitute, or the equivalent of that in abstention, so that he may taste the ill consequences of his deed. 5:95

  وَمَن قَتَلَهُۥ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًۭا فَجَزَآءٌۭ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ ٱلنَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِۦ ذَوَا عَدْلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًۢا بَٰلِغَ ٱلْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّٰرَةٌۭ طَعَامُ مَسَٰكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَٰلِكَ صِيَامًۭا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِۦ

• Thus do We reward those who do good. 6:84

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• Today, you will be rewarded with the punishment of humiliation, for having said about God other than the truth, and for having been arrogant before His signs." 6:93

  ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

• Those who acquire transgression will be rewarded for what they used to commit. 6:120

  إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ ٱلْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَقْتَرِفُونَ

• He will reward them for what they used to invent. 6:138

  سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

• He will reward them for their attribution. 6:139

  سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ

• Thus did We reward them for their transgression, 6:146

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَٰهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ

• We will reward those who turn away from Our signs with the worst punishment, for having turned away from them. 6:157

  سَنَجْزِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْدِفُونَ

• and whoever comes with the evil deed is rewarded only with its equivalent, without being wronged. 6:160

  وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

• Thus do We reward the severed. 7:40

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

• Thus do We reward the unjust. 7:41

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• And those who denied Our signs and the meeting of the last life, their works have collapsed; are they rewarded except according to what they used to do? 7:147

  وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Thus do We reward the inventors of lies. 7:152

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُفْتَرِينَ

• They will be rewarded according to what they used to do. 7:180

  سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Such is the reward of those who deny-disown. 9:26

  وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

• Fight those who do not believe in God nor in the Last Day, who do not forbid what God and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not submit to the Law of truth, among those to whom the Scripture was given — until they pay the war indemnity, by their own hand, in a state of submission. 9:29

  قَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلْحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعْطُوا۟ ٱلْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍۢ وَهُمْ صَٰغِرُونَ

• Let them laugh little, then, and weep much, as a reward for what they used to earn. 9:82

  فَلْيَضْحَكُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا وَلْيَبْكُوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

• as a reward for what they used to earn. 9:95

  جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

• so that God may reward them according to the best of what they used to do. 9:121

  لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• It is He who begins creation, then remakes it, so as to reward with equity those who believed and did righteous deeds. 10:4

  إِنَّهُۥ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ

• Thus do We reward the severed people. 10:13

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

• As for those who committed evil deeds, the reward of an evil deed will be its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them; no protector will shield them from God — as if their faces were covered with strips of dark night. 10:27

  وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍۢ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا

• are you rewarded except for what you used to earn?" 10:52

  هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ

• thus do We reward those who excel [in good]. 12:22

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• She said: "What is the reward of one who intends evil against your family, except prison or a painful punishment?" 12:25

  قَالَتْ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِأَهْلِكَ سُوٓءًا إِلَّآ أَن يُسْجَنَ أَوْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ

• They said: "What then will be his penalty, if you are liars?" 12:74

  قَالُوا۟ فَمَا جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ

• They said: "His penalty: he in whose bag it is found shall himself be the penalty. 12:75

  قَالُوا۟ جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥ مَن وُجِدَ فِى رَحْلِهِۦ فَهُوَ جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥ

• Thus do we requite the unjust." 12:75

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• God indeed rewards those who give charity." 12:88

  إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

• And you will see the severed, that Day, bound together in chains, their garments of tar, and the fire covering their faces, so that God may reward every Self according to what it earned: 14:51

  وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍۢ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّا كَسَبَتْ

• Thus God rewards those who guard themselves, those the Agents take in a state of purity, 16:32

  كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ

• And We shall surely reward those who were patient according to the best of their deeds. 16:96

  وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوٓا۟ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Whoever does good, male or female, while being a believer, We shall surely make him live a good life, and We shall surely reward them according to the best of their deeds. 16:97

  مَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌۭ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةًۭ طَيِّبَةًۭ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• He said: "Go! Whoever among them follows you — Jahannam will be your recompense, an abundant recompense. 17:63

  قَالَ ٱذْهَبْ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ مَّوْفُورًۭا

• That is their reward, for having denied Our signs and said: "When we are bones and fragments, shall we really be raised in a new creation?" 17:98

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًۭا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًۭا جَدِيدًا

• As for the one who believes and does a righteous deed, he will have the finest [of outcomes] as reward, 18:88

  وَأَمَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلَهُۥ جَزَآءً ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

• Such: their reward will be Jahannam, for having denied and having taken My signs and My messengers in mockery. 18:106

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوا۟ وَٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِى وَرُسُلِى هُزُوًا

• The Hour is coming — I keep it almost hidden — so that every Self may be repaid for what it has striven toward. 20:15

  إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ

• Such is the reward of whoever purifies himself. 20:76

  وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

• Thus do We requite whoever exceeds all bounds and does not believe in the signs of his Guardian; 20:127

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ

• Whoever among them were to say, 'I am a god besides Him' — that one We would repay with Jahannam: 21:29

  وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّىٓ إِلَٰهٌۭ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ

• thus do We repay the wrongdoers. 21:29

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• I have this day rewarded them for their endurance: it is they who are the triumphant. 23:111

  إِنِّى جَزَيْتُهُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ

• fearing a day when the cores and the gazes will be overturned, [acting] so that God may reward them according to the best of what they have done, and grant them increase from His favor. 24:38

  يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًۭا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ

• It will be for them a reward and a destination. 25:15

  كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَمَصِيرًۭا

• those will be rewarded with the high chamber for their endurance, and will be received therein with a greeting and a peace, abiding therein forever. 25:76

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةًۭ وَسَلَٰمًا خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا

• Will you be recompensed otherwise than according to what you used to do? 27:90

  هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

• thus do We reward those who do good. 28:14

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• She said: "My father calls you, to reward you for having watered [our flock] for us." 28:25

  قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا

• and whoever comes with an evil deed — those who did evil deeds will be repaid only for what they used to do. 28:84

  وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Those who have believed and done what is right — We will surely cover their bad deeds, and We will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do. 29:7

  وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• and whoever does righteousness — those prepare a place for themselves — so that He may reward, out of His favor, those who believed and did righteous deeds. 30:45

  وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُونَ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ

• O mankind, be mindful of your Guardian, and fear a day when no father will avail his child, nor any child avail his father at all. 31:33

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ وَٱخْشَوْا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا

• And no Self knows what has been hidden for it of a rest of the gaze, as reward for what they used to do. 32:17

  فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍۢ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• and they have not changed in the least — so that God may reward the truthful for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites, if He wills, or turn to them [in forgiveness]. 33:24

  وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًۭا لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ

• nor anything smaller or greater than that, without it being in a clear record — so that He may reward those who believed and did righteous deeds." 34:4

  وَلَآ أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ

• That is how We repaid them for what they denied — 34:17

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُوا۟

• and is anyone repaid, except the great denier? 34:17

  وَهَلْ نُجَٰزِىٓ إِلَّا ٱلْكَفُورَ

• will they be repaid except according to what they used to do? 34:33

  هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in closeness — except for one who believed and did righteous deeds: those will have a doubled reward for what they did, and they will be secure in the elevated chambers. 34:37

  وَمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِى تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغُرُفَٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ

• Thus do We repay every great denier. 35:36

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى كُلَّ كَفُورٍۢ

• This day, no Self will be wronged in the least, and you will be repaid only for what you used to do. 36:54

  فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

• and you will be repaid only for what you used to do — except the purified obedient ones of God: 37:40

  وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ

• This is how We reward those who excel [in good]. 37:80

  إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• This is how We reward those who excel [in good]. 37:110

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• This is how We reward those who excel [in good]. 37:121

  إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• such is the reward of those who do good: God covers for them the worst of what they did, and repays them according to the best of what they used to do. 39:35

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ لِيُكَفِّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَسْوَأَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِيَهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Today every Self will be repaid for what it earned; 40:17

  ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ

• Whoever does an evil deed is repaid only its equivalent, 40:40

  مَنْ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةًۭ فَلَا يُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا

• We will surely make those who deny taste a severe punishment, and We will surely repay them the worst of what they used to do. 41:27

  فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَذَابًۭا شَدِيدًۭا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• That is the recompense of the enemies of God: the Fire; 41:28

  ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ أَعْدَآءِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّارُ

• a recompense for their denying Our signs. 41:28

  جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ

• The recompense of an evil is an evil equal to it; 42:40

  وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟ سَيِّئَةٍۢ سَيِّئَةٌۭ مِّثْلُهَا

• Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not expect the days of God, so that He may repay a people for what they used to earn. 45:14

  قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجْزِىَ قَوْمًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

• and so that every Self may be repaid for what it earned, and they will not be wronged. 45:22

  وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

• "Today you are repaid for what you used to do." 45:28

  ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

• as a reward for what they used to do. 46:14

  جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• So today you are repaid the punishment of disgrace for what you used to arrogantly claim on earth without right, and for your overstepping [the limits]. 46:20

  فَٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْسُقُونَ

• Thus do We repay the severed people. 46:25

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

• You are only recompensed for what you used to do. 52:16

  إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

• To God belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth, so that He may recompense those who did evil for what they did, and recompense those who did good with the best [reward]. 53:31

  وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ بِٱلْحُسْنَى

• then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 53:41

  ثُمَّ يُجْزَىٰهُ ٱلْجَزَآءَ ٱلْأَوْفَىٰ

• It sailed under Our eyes, a recompense for the one who had been rejected. 54:14

  تَجْرِى بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءًۭ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

• Thus do We reward whoever is grateful. 54:35

  كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَن شَكَرَ

• Is the reward of good conduct anything but good conduct? 55:60

  هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَٰنُ

• And companions of listening and support, like well-guarded pearls, in reward for what they used to do. 56:24

  وَحُورٌ عِينٌۭ كَأَمْثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

• Such is the reward of the wrongdoers. 59:17

  وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• O you who denied [the truth once given to you]! Do not make excuses today: you are only being repaid for what you used to do. 66:7

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

• we desire from you neither reward nor gratitude. 76:9

  لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَلَا شُكُورًا

• And He will reward them, for what they patiently endured, with a garden and silk, reclining therein upon adorned couches, seeing therein neither sun nor bitter cold; its shades will hang close over them, and its clusters of fruit will be brought low, within easy reach. 76:14

  وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةًۭ وَحَرِيرًۭا مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًۭا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًۭا وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًۭا

• Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been met with gratitude. 76:22

  إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا

• Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good. 77:44

  إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• They will taste therein neither coolness nor drink, except scalding water and a foul, dark fluid — a fitting recompense. 78:26

  لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًۭا وَلَا شَرَابًا إِلَّا حَمِيمًۭا وَغَسَّاقًۭا جَزَآءًۭ وِفَاقًا

• a reward from your Guardian, a gift, well accounted, 78:36

  جَزَآءًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًۭا

• and who seeks not, in any favor he grants, except the face of his Guardian, the Most High. 92:20

  وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

• Their reward, with their Guardian, is the gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. 98:8

  جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا
