• they put their fingers in their ears, because of the thunderclaps, out of fear of death. 2:19

  يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ

• He who made for you the earth a bed, and the sky a structure, and who sent down from the sky water, by which He brought forth fruits as sustenance for you. 2:22

  ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِرَٰشًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًۭا لَّكُمْ

• So do not attribute to God equals, while you know. 2:22

  فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

• And remember when your Guardian said to the Agents: "I am going to establish a successor on the earth." 2:30

  وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةًۭ

• They said: "Will You establish therein one who will sow corruption in it and shed blood, while we celebrate Your praise, glorifying You, and proclaim Your holiness?" 2:30

  قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ

• We made of it an exemplary punishment for what surrounded it and what followed, and an admonition for those who guard themselves. 2:66

  فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا نَكَٰلًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

• He said: "I am going to make you a guide for mankind." 2:124

  قَالَ إِنِّى جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًۭا

• And remember when We made the House a place of return for mankind, and a security; and take, from the station of Ibrahim, a place of Contact. 2:125

  وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلًّۭى

• And remember when Ibrahim said: "My Guardian, make of this a secure land, and provide of its fruits as sustenance to its inhabitants, to those among them who believe in God and the Last Day." 2:126

  وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًۭا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ

• Our Guardian, make us both true to You alone, and, of our descendants, a community true to You alone. 2:128

  رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ

• And thus have We made you an exemplary community, 2:143

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَٰكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَسَطًۭا

• And We had established the anchor point, the one you were upon, only to distinguish who follows the messenger from who turns back on his heels. 2:143

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَا ٱلْقِبْلَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنتَ عَلَيْهَآ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ

• And do not make God, in your oaths, a pretext you use at will, 2:224

  وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عُرْضَةًۭ لِّأَيْمَٰنِكُمْ

• and so that We may make of you a sign for mankind. 2:259

  وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ

• He said: "Take, then, four birds, tame them to yourself, then place, on each hill, a part of them, then call them: they will come to you swiftly. 2:260

  قَالَ فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ جَبَلٍۢ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًۭا ثُمَّ ٱدْعُهُنَّ يَأْتِينَكَ سَعْيًۭا

• He said: "My Guardian, give me a sign." 3:41

  قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ

• and place those who followed you above those who denied-disowned, until the Day of Appearance. 3:55

  وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

• To whoever would dispute with you about this, after knowledge has come to you, say: "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then let us pray fervently, and call the curse of God upon the liars." 3:61

  فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا۟ نَدْعُ أَبْنَآءَنَا وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمْ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• And God made it only a good tiding for you, and so that your cores might find ease in it. 3:126

  وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُم بِهِۦ

• O you who have believed! do not be like those who denied-disowned, and who say of their brothers, when they travel through the land or go off on an expedition: "Had they stayed with us, they would not have died, and would not have been killed" — so that God may make of it a bitter regret in their cores. 3:156

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقَالُوا۟ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُوا۟ غُزًّۭى لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُوا۟ وَمَا قُتِلُوا۟ لِيَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسْرَةًۭ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ

• God wants to give them no share in the last life, 3:176

  يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّۭا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ

• And do not entrust to the foolish your possessions, which God has made a support for you; 4:5

  وَلَا تُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلسُّفَهَآءَ أَمْوَٰلَكُمُ ٱلَّتِى جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ قِيَٰمًۭا

• and if they testify, then keep them within the household rather than casting them out, until death recalls them [to God], or God opens a way for them. 4:15

  فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِى ٱلْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىٰ يَتَوَفَّىٰهُنَّ ٱلْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًۭا

• If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing in which God places much good. 4:19

  فَإِن كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًۭٔا وَيَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًۭا كَثِيرًۭا

• And to each, We have assigned heirs for what are left 4:33

  وَلِكُلٍّۢ جَعَلْنَا مَوَٰلِىَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ

• And what is with you that you should not fight in the way of God, and for the men, women, and children reduced to weakness, who say: "Our Guardian, bring us out of this city whose people are unjust, and give us, from Yourself, a protector, and give us, from Yourself, a helper"? 4:75

  وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلْوِلْدَٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّۭا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا

• If they keep away from you, do not fight you, and offer you peace, then God grants you no way against them. 4:90

  فَإِنِ ٱعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلًۭا

• Those are the ones against whom We give you manifest authority. 4:91

  وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنًۭا مُّبِينًۭا

• and God will never grant those who deny-disown a way over the believers. 4:141

  وَلَن يَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا

• Would you give God manifest authority against you? 4:144

  أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَٰنًۭا مُّبِينًا

• God does not want to impose any hardship on you, 5:6

  مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍۢ

• For having violated their engagement, We cursed them and made their cores hard: they displace words from their context, and have forgotten a part of what they had been reminded of. 5:13

  فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ لَعَنَّٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَٰسِيَةًۭ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّۭا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ

• And remember when Moussa said to his people: "O my people! remember God's blessing upon you, when He placed among you prophets, and made you kings, 5:20

  وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنۢبِيَآءَ وَجَعَلَكُم مُّلُوكًۭا

• To each of you, We have assigned a law and a way. 5:48

  لِكُلٍّۢ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةًۭ وَمِنْهَاجًۭا

• And had God willed, He would have made you one community; 5:48

  وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ

• Say: "Shall I inform you of a reward worse than that, with God? He whom God has cursed, with whom He was angered, and of whom He made apes and swine, and he who obeyed the Tyrant — 5:60

  قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّۢ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْقِرَدَةَ وَٱلْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ

• God has made the Ka'ba, the Inviolable House, a support [of stability] for mankind, as well as the inviolable month, the voluntary offerings, and the vow-bound offerings. 5:97

  جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَعْبَةَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ قِيَٰمًۭا لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَٱلْهَدْىَ وَٱلْقَلَٰٓئِدَ

• God did not institute any bahira, sa'iba, wasila, or ham, 5:103

  مَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَحِيرَةٍۢ وَلَا سَآئِبَةٍۢ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍۢ وَلَا حَامٍۢ

• In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Praise be to God, who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darknesses and the light; yet those who deny-disown set up equals to their Guardian. 6:1

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

• and We made the rivers flow beneath them; then We destroyed them for their offenses, 6:6

  وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ

• And had We made him an Agent, We would have made him a man, and We would have clothed him in what they themselves wear. 6:9

  وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ مَلَكًۭا لَّجَعَلْنَٰهُ رَجُلًۭا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ

• but We have placed over their cores coverings, so that they do not understand it, and in their ears a deafness. 6:25

  وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًۭا

• and whoever He wills [to guide], He places on a straight path. 6:39

  وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

• which you put on parchments, showing some and hiding much — 6:91

  تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًۭا

• He who makes the dawn split forth, and who made the night a rest, 6:96

  فَالِقُ ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ سَكَنًۭا

• And it is He who made for you the stars, so that you might guide yourselves by them in the darknesses of land and sea. 6:97

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِى ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ

• And they made, of the Occulted, associates to God, though He created them; 6:100

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ

• And We have not made you their guardian, 6:107

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًۭا

• And thus have We assigned to every prophet an enemy: the diverters among humans and the Occulted, who inspire one another with embellished speech, by deception. 6:112

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّۭا شَيَٰطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًۭا

• Is he who was dead, and to whom We gave life, and for whom We made a light with which he walks among people, like him whose likeness is to be in darknesses, unable to emerge from them? 6:122

  أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيْتًۭا فَأَحْيَيْنَٰهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ نُورًۭا يَمْشِى بِهِۦ فِى ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُۥ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍۢ مِّنْهَا

• And thus have We placed, in every city, the greatest of its severed, so that they might scheme [evil] there; 6:123

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَٰبِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا۟ فِيهَا

• God knows best where to place His message. 6:124

  ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥ

• and whomever He wants to lead astray, He makes his chest narrow and constricted, as if he were ascending into the sky. 6:125

  وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًۭا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ

• Thus does God place defilement upon those who do not believe. 6:125

  كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

• And they assigned to God, of what He caused to grow as crops and cattle, a share, saying: "This is for God" — according to their claim — "and this is for our associates"; 6:136

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ ٱلْحَرْثِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ نَصِيبًۭا فَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَآئِنَا

• And it is He who made you successors on the earth, and raised some of you above others in degrees, so as to try you in what He has given you. 6:165

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍۢ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ

• We have indeed established you on the earth, and We have given you therein means of livelihood. 7:10

  وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

• We have made the diverters allies for those who do not believe. 7:27

  إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

• And when their gazes are turned toward the companions of the Fire, they will say: "Our Guardian, do not place us with the unjust people." 7:47

  وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• Remember that He made you successors after the people of Nuh, and gave you an increase of stature in constitution. 7:69

  وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍۢ وَزَادَكُمْ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ بَصْۜطَةًۭ

• And remember that He made you successors after Aad, and settled you on the earth: you take, in its plains, castles, and you carve the mountains into dwellings. 7:74

  وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ عَادٍۢ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًۭا وَتَنْحِتُونَ ٱلْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًۭا

• They said: "O Moussa! make for us a deity, as they have deities." 7:138

  قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجْعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهًۭا كَمَا لَهُمْ ءَالِهَةٌۭ

• When his Guardian manifested Himself to the mountain, He made it collapse under pressure, and Moussa fell thunderstruck. 7:143

  فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّۭا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًۭا

• He said: "Son of my mother! the people reduced me to weakness, and almost killed me; do not, then, let the enemies gloat over me, and do not place me with the unjust people." 7:150

  قَالَ ٱبْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱسْتَضْعَفُونِى وَكَادُوا۟ يَقْتُلُونَنِى فَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِىَ ٱلْأَعْدَآءَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِى مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• It is He who created you from a single Self, and made from it its spouse, so that he might find rest with it. 7:189

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا

• But when He had given them a righteous [child], they attributed to Him associates in what He had given them. 7:190

  فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَا صَٰلِحًۭا جَعَلَا لَهُۥ شُرَكَآءَ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَا

• And God made it only a good tiding, and so that your cores might find ease in it. 8:10

  وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِۦ قُلُوبُكُمْ

• O you who have believed! if you guard yourselves toward God, He will grant you a Discernment, erase your evil deeds for you, and forgive you. 8:29

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّكُمْ فُرْقَانًۭا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ

• And those who deny-disown will be gathered toward Jahannam, so that God may distinguish the vile from the good, place the vile, part upon part, make of it a whole heap, and put it into Jahannam. 8:37

  وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ لِيَمِيزَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبِ وَيَجْعَلَ ٱلْخَبِيثَ بَعْضَهُۥ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَيَرْكُمَهُۥ جَمِيعًۭا فَيَجْعَلَهُۥ فِى جَهَنَّمَ

• Would you make the watering of the arrival and the maintenance of the inviolable place of prostration equivalent to one who has believed in God and the Last Day, and has striven in the way of God? 9:19

  أَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ ٱلْحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَجَٰهَدَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

• and He made lowest the word of those who had denied-disowned, 9:40

  وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ

• It is He who made the sun a brightness and the moon a light, and appointed it stations, so that you might know the count of years and the reckoning. 10:5

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءًۭ وَٱلْقَمَرَ نُورًۭا وَقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ

• Then We made you successors on the earth, after them, so as to see how you would act. 10:14

  ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَٰكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ

• until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and become embellished, and its people think they have mastery over it, Our command comes to it, by night or by day, and We make it a mown field, as if it had not flourished the day before. 10:24

  حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَخَذَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَٱزَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَآ أَنَّهُمْ قَٰدِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَىٰهَآ أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا حَصِيدًۭا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِٱلْأَمْسِ

• Say: "What do you think? Of what God sent down for you as provision, you made some of it forbidden and some lawful — 10:59

  قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًۭا وَحَلَٰلًۭا

• It is He who made for you the night so that you might rest in it, and the day for seeing clearly. 10:67

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا

• But they denied him; We saved him, and those with him in the ship, and We made them successors, 10:73

  فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ

• Our Guardian, do not make us a trial for the unjust people, 10:85

  رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• We revealed to Moussa and his brother: "Establish houses for your people in Egypt; make your houses an anchor point; and maintain the Contact." 10:87

  وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًۭا وَٱجْعَلُوا۟ بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةًۭ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

• and He places defilement upon those who do not reason. 10:100

  وَيَجْعَلُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

• When Our command came, We made the top [of their city] its bottom, and rained upon it stones of hardened clay, layered, marked with your Guardian: 11:83

  فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا جَعَلْنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ مَّنضُودٍۢ مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ

• And had your Guardian willed, He would have made the people a single community; 11:118

  وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ

• When they took him away and agreed to put him in the depths of the well — and We revealed to him: "You will surely inform them of this affair, while they do not suspect it" — 12:15

  فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَأَجْمَعُوٓا۟ أَن يَجْعَلُوهُ فِى غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلْجُبِّ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

• He said: "Place me in charge of the treasuries of this land: I am indeed a knowledgeable guardian." 12:55

  قَالَ ٱجْعَلْنِى عَلَىٰ خَزَآئِنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ إِنِّى حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٌۭ

• He said to his servants: "Put their merchandise back in their saddlebags, perhaps they will recognize it when they return to their people, perhaps they will come back." 12:62

  وَقَالَ لِفِتْيَٰنِهِ ٱجْعَلُوا۟ بِضَٰعَتَهُمْ فِى رِحَالِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْرِفُونَهَآ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

• When he had provided them with their supplies, he placed the cup in his brother's bag; then a herald cried out: "O caravan, you are indeed thieves!" 12:70

  فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ ٱلسِّقَايَةَ فِى رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَٰرِقُونَ

• He said: "O my father, this is the interpretation of my vision of old: my Guardian has made it true. 12:100

  وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأْوِيلُ رُءْيَٰىَ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّى حَقًّۭا

• And it is He who spread out the earth, and placed upon it firmly-anchored mountains and rivers; 13:3

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنْهَٰرًۭا

• and of all the fruits, He placed therein two elements of a pair, 13:3

  وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ

• Or have they assigned to God associates who created as He creates, such that creation seems alike to them? 13:16

  أَمْ جَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُوا۟ كَخَلْقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ

• And they have assigned associates to God: say: "Name them! 13:33

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ

• We have indeed sent envoys before you, and given them spouses and progeny; 13:38

  وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًۭا مِّن قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَذُرِّيَّةًۭ

• And they assigned rivals to God, so as to mislead from His path: 14:30

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

• And [recall] when Ibrahim said: "My Guardian, make this land a secure place, and keep me and my sons away from obeying idols. 14:35

  وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدَ ءَامِنًۭا وَٱجْنُبْنِى وَبَنِىَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ ٱلْأَصْنَامَ

• Our Guardian, so that they may maintain the Contact; so make consciences, among the people, incline toward them, and provide them with fruits, perhaps they will be grateful. 14:37

  رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ

• My Guardian, make me one who maintains the Contact, and of my progeny too; 14:40

  رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى

• We have indeed placed in the sky constellations, and adorned them for those who look, and preserved them from every banished Diverter — except one who steals a furtive hearing, and is then pursued by a clear, blazing projectile. 15:18

  وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًۭا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ رَّجِيمٍ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

• And the earth, We spread it out, and cast upon it firmly-anchored mountains, and caused to grow upon it everything in due measure, and We gave you therein means of livelihood, 15:20

  وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مَّوْزُونٍۢ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

• The Cry then seized them at daybreak, and We made the top [of their city] its bottom, and rained upon them stones of hardened clay. 15:74

  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ فَجَعَلْنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

• And say: "I am, indeed, the clear warner" — as We sent it down upon those who divided it, those who made of this Recitation disparate fragments. 15:91

  وَقُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلْمُبِينُ كَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عِضِينَ

• We have indeed sufficed you against the mockers, those who place, alongside God, another deity: 15:96

  إِنَّا كَفَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ

• And they assign, to what they do not know, a share of what We have provided them. 16:56

  وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًۭا مِّمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ

• And they assign to God daughters — Glory be to Him! 16:57

  وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْبَنَٰتِ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ

• And they assign to God what they themselves detest, 16:62

  وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ

• And God has given you, from yourselves, spouses, and given you, from your spouses, children and grandchildren, 16:72

  وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةًۭ

• and He gave you hearing, sight, and consciences, perhaps you will be grateful. 16:78

  وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

• And God has given you, from your houses, a peaceful abode, and He has given you, from the hides of cattle, dwellings you find light on the day of your departure and the day of your settling, 16:80

  وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ بُيُوتًۭا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ

• And God has given you, from what He created, shades, and He has given you, from the mountains, shelters, and He has given you garments that protect you from the heat, and garments that protect you from your own violence: 16:81

  وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٰلًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَٰنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ

• and do not break oaths after affirming them, having taken God as a guarantor over you: 16:91

  وَلَا تَنقُضُوا۟ ٱلْأَيْمَٰنَ بَعْدَ تَوْكِيدِهَا وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُمُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْكُمْ كَفِيلًا

• Had God willed, He would have made you a single community; 16:93

  وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ

• The sabt [the act of rest/inaction] was instituted only for those who differed about it: 16:124

  إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبْتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ

• And We gave Moussa the Scripture, and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel: "Take no one, besides Me, as an agent" — progeny of those We carried with Nuh. 17:3

  وَءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هُدًۭى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن دُونِى وَكِيلًۭا ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ

• Then We gave you back the upper hand over them, and supported you with wealth and children, and made you more numerous in ranks. 17:6

  ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَٰكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍۢ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا

• And We have made Jahannam, for those who deny, an enclosure. 17:8

  وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ حَصِيرًا

• We have made the night and the day two signs; We effaced the sign of the night and made the sign of the day a time of clarity, so that you might seek a favor from your Guardian and know the count of years and reckoning. 17:12

  وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ءَايَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةًۭ لِّتَبْتَغُوا۟ فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ

• Whoever wants the hasty [life], We hasten for him in it what We will, to whom We will; then We assign him Jahannam, where he will burn, blamed, driven away. 17:18

  مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلْنَا لَهُۥ فِيهَا مَا نَشَآءُ لِمَن نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَىٰهَا مَذْمُومًۭا مَّدْحُورًۭا

• Do not place, alongside God, another deity, or you would find yourself blamed, abandoned. 17:22

  لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًۭا مَّخْذُولًۭا

• Do not keep your hand chained to your neck, nor stretch it out completely, or you would find yourself blamed, overwhelmed with regret. 17:29

  وَلَا تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةً إِلَىٰ عُنُقِكَ وَلَا تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ ٱلْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومًۭا مَّحْسُورًا

• Whoever is killed unjustly, We have granted the legal authority [in charge] an authority; but let him not exceed the bound in taking life, 17:33

  وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًۭا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًۭا فَلَا يُسْرِف فِّى ٱلْقَتْلِ

• Do not place, alongside God, another deity, or you would be cast into Jahannam, blamed, driven away. 17:39

  وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتُلْقَىٰ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًۭا مَّدْحُورًا

• And when you recite the Recitation, We place between you and those who do not believe in the last life a hidden veil, 17:45

  وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ حِجَابًۭا مَّسْتُورًۭا

• and We place over their Cores veils, [preventing them] from understanding it, and in their ears a deafness. 17:46

  وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًۭا

• We made the vision that We showed you only a trial for the people, as also the cursed tree in this Recitation. 17:60

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَا ٱلرُّءْيَا ٱلَّتِىٓ أَرَيْنَٰكَ إِلَّا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ ٱلْمَلْعُونَةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْءَانِ

• And say: "My Guardian, cause me to enter by an entrance of truth, and cause me to exit by an exit of truth, and grant me, from Yourself, a supporting authority." 17:80

  وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِى مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍۢ وَأَخْرِجْنِى مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍۢ وَٱجْعَل لِّى مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَٰنًۭا نَّصِيرًۭا

• Have they not seen that God, who created the heavens and the earth, is able to create their like, and that He has appointed for them a term about which there is no doubt? 17:99

  أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلًۭا لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ

• In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Praise be to God, who has sent down upon His obedient one the Scripture and placed in it no deviation, 18:1

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عِوَجَا

• We have made what is on the earth an ornament for it, so as to test them: which of them is best in deed. 18:7

  إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ زِينَةًۭ لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًۭا

• And We shall surely make what is on it a barren, stripped ground. 18:8

  وَإِنَّا لَجَٰعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًۭا جُرُزًا

• Multiply for them an example: two men; to one of them We gave two gardens of vines, which We surrounded with palm trees, and between which We placed cultivated fields. 18:32

  وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَحَفَفْنَٰهُمَا بِنَخْلٍۢ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًۭا

• but you claimed that We would never appoint you a meeting." 18:48

  بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًۭا

• And the Day He says: "Call upon My associates whom you claimed [to have]," they will call upon them, but they will not respond to them; and We shall place between them a place of perdition. 18:52

  وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ نَادُوا۟ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّوْبِقًۭا

• We have placed over their Cores veils, [preventing them] from understanding it, and in their ears a deafness; 18:57

  إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًۭا

• And those cities, We destroyed them when they did wrong, and We set an appointment for their destruction. 18:59

  وَتِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا۟ وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًۭا

• Then he followed a link, until, having reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people to whom We had given, besides it, no shelter. 18:91

  ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًۭا كَذَٰلِكَ

• They said: "O Dhul-Qarnayn, Yajuj and Majuj are spreading corruption in the land; shall we grant you a tribute, on condition that you place between us and them a dam?" 18:94

  قَالُوا۟ يَٰذَا ٱلْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّۭا

• so help me with strength, and I will set up between you and them a barrier. 18:95

  فَأَعِينُونِى بِقُوَّةٍ أَجْعَلْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ رَدْمًا

• Then, when he had made it fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour molten naphtha over it." 18:96

  حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَعَلَهُۥ نَارًۭا قَالَ ءَاتُونِىٓ أُفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِ قِطْرًۭا

• but when the promise of my Guardian comes, He will reduce it to dust — and the promise of my Guardian is true." 18:98

  فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى جَعَلَهُۥ دَكَّآءَ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّى حَقًّۭا

• and make him, my Guardian, pleasing [to You]." 19:6

  وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّۭا

• "O Zakariya, We give you glad tidings of a boy: his name is Yahya, to whom We have given, before him, no one sharing this attribute." 19:7

  يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسْمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّۭا

• He said: "My Guardian, appoint for me a sign." 19:10

  قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ

• And We shall make him a sign for the people and a benevolence from Us. 19:21

  وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا

• He called to her from below her: "Do not grieve! Your Guardian has set beneath you a couch. 19:24

  فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّۭا

• The child said: "I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet; He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and enjoined upon me the Contact and the purifying alms as long as I live, and dutifulness toward my mother. 19:32

  قَالَ إِنِّى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِى نَبِيًّۭا وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَٰنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّۭا وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِى

• He has not made me tyrannical or wretched. 19:32

  وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارًۭا شَقِيًّۭا

• and each We made a prophet. 19:49

  وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّۭا

• And We granted them [a share] of Our benevolence, and gave them a lofty renown of truth. 19:50

  وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّۭا

• To those who believe and do righteous deeds, the All-Benevolent will grant affection. 19:96

  إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّۭا

• He said: «Guardian, open up my chest for me, ease my task for me, undo a knot from my tongue so that they may understand my speech, and appoint for me an assistant from my own, Harun, my brother. 20:30

  قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةًۭ مِّن لِّسَانِى يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى وَٱجْعَل لِّى وَزِيرًۭا مِّنْ أَهْلِى هَٰرُونَ أَخِى

• He who made the earth for you a spread, and traced for you paths within it, and sent down water from the sky, 20:53

  ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًۭا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًۭا وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ

• So set between us and you an appointment, which neither we nor you shall fail, at a fair place.» 20:58

  فَٱجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًۭا لَّا نُخْلِفُهُۥ نَحْنُ وَلَآ أَنتَ مَكَانًۭا سُوًۭى

• We did not make them bodies that ate no food, 21:8

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ جَسَدًۭا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ

• That cry did not cease until We made them a mown harvest, extinguished. 21:15

  فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ

• And We made every living thing from water — 21:30

  وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ

• And We placed firm anchors on the earth, lest it sway with them, 21:31

  وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ

• and We made in it passes and paths, so that they might be guided. 21:31

  وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًۭا سُبُلًۭا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

• And We made the heaven a protected ceiling, 21:32

  وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًۭا مَّحْفُوظًۭا

• We did not grant immortality to any human before you — 21:34

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ٱلْخُلْدَ

• So he broke them into pieces, except a great one of theirs, so that they might return to it. 21:58

  فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًۭا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ

• They intended a scheme against him, but We made them the greatest losers. 21:70

  وَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ

• And each of them We made righteous. 21:72

  وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا صَٰلِحِينَ

• And We made them leaders who guide by Our command, 21:73

  وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا

• And Maryam, who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our Influx, and made her and her son a sign for all beings. 21:91

  وَٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا وَٱبْنَهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

• Indeed, those who deny and turn [people] away from the way of God and from the Sacred Mosque, which We made for the people equally, whether one dwells there or is passing through — 22:25

  إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلْنَٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَآءً ٱلْعَٰكِفُ فِيهِ وَٱلْبَادِ

• And for every community We have assigned a beneficent practice, that they may mention the name of God over the grazing livestock He has provided them. 22:34

  وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًۭا لِّيَذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ

• And the sacrificial animals — We have made them for you among the perceptible markers of God; in them is good for you. 22:36

  وَٱلْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَٰهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَٰٓئِرِ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌۭ

• And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he had a wish, the Diverter would insert something into it. God then transcribes what the Diverter inserts, and He affirms His signs — God is all-knowing, wise — so that this transcription may be a trial for those in whose Cores is a sickness and whose Cores are hardened. 22:53

  وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍۢ وَلَا نَبِىٍّ إِلَّآ إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰٓ أَلْقَى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ فِىٓ أُمْنِيَّتِهِۦ فَيَنسَخُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ لِّيَجْعَلَ مَا يُلْقِى ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ وَٱلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ

• For every community We have assigned a beneficent practice which it carries out. 22:67

  لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ جَعَلْنَا مَنسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوهُ

• and He has not placed upon you, in the Law, any hardship — 22:78

  وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ مِنْ حَرَجٍۢ

• then We made him a drop in a secure receptacle, 23:13

  ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَٰهُ نُطْفَةًۭ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍۢ

• The cry then seized them in all truth, and We made them into debris [scattered on the surface]. 23:41

  فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ غُثَآءًۭ

• We thus made them follow one another, and We made them into narrated tales. 23:44

  فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًۭا وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ

• And We made the son of Maryam and his mother a sign, 23:50

  وَجَعَلْنَا ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ

• Say: My Guardian, if You show me what they are promised, then, my Guardian, do not place me among the unjust people. 23:94

  قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّى مَا يُوعَدُونَ رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِى فِى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• And he to whom God grants no light has no light. 24:40

  وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ نُورًۭا فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن نُّورٍ

• Have you not seen that God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then makes them into a mass, and you see the rain come out from within it? 24:43

  أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزْجِى سَحَابًۭا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ رُكَامًۭا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ

• Do not consider the call of the messenger among yourselves as the call of one of you to another. 24:63

  لَّا تَجْعَلُوا۟ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَآءِ بَعْضِكُم بَعْضًۭا

• Blessed is He who, if He willed, would give you better than that: gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He would give you palaces. 25:10

  تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًۭا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا

• And We have made some of you a trial for others. 25:20

  وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍۢ فِتْنَةً

• And We turned to every deed they had done, and We reduced it to scattered dust. 25:23

  وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍۢ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هَبَآءًۭ مَّنثُورًا

• Thus have We given to every prophet an enemy from among the severed. 25:31

  وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

• We gave Moussa the Scripture, and We placed with him his brother Harun as support. 25:35

  وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرًۭا

• And the people of Nuh, when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for the people. 25:37

  وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةًۭ

• Had He willed, He would have made it still. 25:45

  وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًۭا

• Then We made the sun its indicator; then We drew it back to Us, an easy withdrawal. 25:46

  ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًۭا يَسِيرًۭا

• It is He who made for you the night a garment, sleep a rest, and the day a time of awakening. 25:47

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًۭا

• and He placed between them a barrier and an impassable boundary. 25:53

  وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًۭا وَحِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا

• It is He who, from water, created a human being, and made of him lineage and kinship by marriage. 25:54

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًۭا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًۭا وَصِهْرًۭا

• Blessed is He who placed in the sky constellations, and placed therein a lamp and a shining moon. 25:61

  تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًۭا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًۭا وَقَمَرًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا

• It is He who made the night and the day a succession, for whoever wants to remember or wants to be grateful. 25:62

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةًۭ لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًۭا

• and those who say: Our Guardian, grant us, from our spouses and our descendants, a rest of the gaze, and make us a model for those who guard themselves — 25:74

  وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍۢ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

• So I fled from you when I feared you; then my Guardian granted me judgment and made me one of the messengers. 26:21

  فَفَرَرْتُ مِنكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِى رَبِّى حُكْمًۭا وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

• He said [Fir'awn]: 'If you take a god other than me, I will certainly put you among the imprisoned.' 26:29

  قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ

• and grant me a tongue of truth among those who come after, 26:84

  وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍۢ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

• and make me one of the heirs of the garden of blessing, 26:85

  وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

• She said [the Queen of Saba]: 'Kings, when they enter a city, corrupt it, and reduce the noble among its people to humiliation; 27:34

  قَالَتْ إِنَّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا۟ قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوٓا۟ أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَآ أَذِلَّةًۭ

• Is it not He who made the earth a stable place, placed rivers within it, gave it firmly anchored mountains, and set between the two seas a barrier? 27:61

  أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًۭا وَجَعَلَ خِلَٰلَهَآ أَنْهَٰرًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا

• Is it not He who answers the one in distress, when he calls upon Him, who removes evil, and who makes you successors on the earth? 27:62

  أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ

• Do they not see that We made the night for them to rest in, and the day for them to see clearly? 27:86

  أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا

• Fir'awn rose up with excess in the land and split its people into factions; he kept one group of them weak, slaughtering their sons and violating the modesty of their women, 28:4

  إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًۭا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةًۭ مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ

• We wanted to favor those who had been kept weak in the land, to make them leaders, to make them the heirs, to establish them firmly in the land, and to show Fir'awn, Haman, and their armies, through them, what they had been guarding against. 28:6

  وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ

• for We will return him to you and make him one of the envoys." 28:7

  إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

• He said: "We will strengthen your arm through your brother, and We will give you both an authority, so that they will not be able to reach you — through Our signs, 28:35

  قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَٰنًۭا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ

• Fir'awn said: "O court, I know of no god for you other than myself. So kindle for me a fire upon clay, O Haman, and build me a tower, that I may climb up to the god of Moussa; for I certainly think he is among the liars." 28:38

  وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًۭا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• We made them leaders who call to the Fire, 28:41

  وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ

• Say: "Have you considered: if God made the night perpetual for you until the Day of Appearance, what god, other than God, would bring you light? 28:71

  قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِضِيَآءٍ

• Say: "Have you considered: if God made the day perpetual for you until the Day of Appearance, what god, other than God, would bring you a night in which to rest? 28:72

  قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍۢ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ

• It is out of His benevolence that He made for you the night and the day, so that you might rest and seek of His bounty, and so that you might be thankful. 28:73

  وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

• That ultimate abode — We reserve it for those who seek, in the land, neither to raise themselves above others, nor corruption; 28:83

  تِلْكَ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًۭا

• Among the people are some who say, "We believe in God," yet when they are made to suffer for God's cause, they equate the trial inflicted by people with God's punishment. 29:10

  وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِىَ فِى ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ

• and We made it a sign for all beings. 29:15

  وَجَعَلْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

• and We placed in his line the prophethood and the Scripture; 29:27

  وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِ ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ

• Do they not see that We have established a secure sanctuary, while all around them people are being snatched away [by violence]? 29:67

  أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا ءَامِنًۭا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ ٱلنَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ

• And among His signs is that He created for you, from yourselves, spouses, so that you might find rest in them, and He placed between you affection and benevolence; 30:21

  وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةًۭ وَرَحْمَةً

• God is He who sends the winds; they stir up clouds, which He spreads in the sky as He wills, and breaks into fragments; then you see the rain come forth from their midst. 30:48

  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًۭا فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ كِسَفًۭا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ

• God is He who created you from weakness, then made, after weakness, strength, then made, after strength, weakness and old age; 30:54

  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍۢ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍۢ قُوَّةًۭ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍۢ ضَعْفًۭا وَشَيْبَةًۭ

• then made his progeny from an extract of a lowly fluid, 32:8

  ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٍۢ مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ

• and He appointed for you hearing, sight, and Consciences — 32:9

  وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ

• and We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel. 32:23

  وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هُدًۭى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

• And We appointed among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they had endured patiently, 32:24

  وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا۟

• God has not assigned to any man two cores within his chest. 33:4

  مَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍۢ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِى جَوْفِهِۦ

• Nor has He made your wives — those from whom you distance yourselves [through zihar] — your mothers, 33:4

  وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّٰٓـِٔى تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ

• nor has He made your adopted sons your [true] sons. 33:4

  وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ

• And We had placed between them and the cities that We had blessed, cities clearly visible, and We had measured the journey between them: 34:18

  وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْقُرَى ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا قُرًۭى ظَٰهِرَةًۭ وَقَدَّرْنَا فِيهَا ٱلسَّيْرَ

• But they said, "Our Guardian, lengthen the distances between our journeys" — and they wronged themselves; so We made them into cautionary tales, and We disintegrated them utterly. 34:19

  فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا بَٰعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَٰهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ

• And those who were deemed weak will say to those who were arrogant, "It was rather your scheming, night and day, when you commanded us to conceal God and to set up equals to Him." 34:33

  وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ بَلْ مَكْرُ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَآ أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادًۭا

• And We will place shackles on the necks of those who denied: 34:33

  وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَغْلَٰلَ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

• In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Praise be to God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, who made the Agents envoys organized into departments — by twos, by threes, by fours. 35:1

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُو۟لِىٓ أَجْنِحَةٍۢ مَّثْنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَ

• God created you from dust, then from a drop of fluid, then made you into pairs. 35:11

  وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍۢ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا

• It is He who made you successors on the earth: 35:39

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

• We have placed shackles on their necks, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are held back. 36:8

  إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ

• And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them over, so they do not see. 36:9

  وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّۭا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّۭا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ

• He said: "If only my people knew for what my Guardian has forgiven me, and made me one of the honored ones!" 36:27

  قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ

• And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and vines, and We caused springs to gush forth in it, so that they may eat from its fruit — and it was not their hands that produced it. 36:35

  وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ

• He who made for you fire out of the green tree, and see, you kindle from it. 36:80

  ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًۭا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ

• We have made it a trial for the wrongdoers: 37:63

  إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ

• and We made his offspring the ones who endured. 37:77

  وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ

• They said: "Build him a structure, and cast him into the Blaze!" They intended a scheme against him, but We made them the lowest. 37:98

  قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ

• And they have set up a kinship between Him and the Occulted; 37:158

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا

• and those who deny said: "This is a worker of illusion, a great liar. Has he made the gods a single God? This is indeed a strange thing!" 38:5

  وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ أَجَعَلَ ٱلْءَالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌۭ

• "O Dawud, We have made you a representative on earth; so judge among the people with truth, and do not follow emotion, lest it lead you astray from the path of God. 38:26

  يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

• Should We treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like those who spread corruption on earth? 38:28

  أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

• Should We treat those who guard themselves like the depraved? 38:28

  أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ

• He created you from a single Self, then brought forth from it its spouse; 39:6

  خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا

• then, when He grants him a favor from Himself, he forgets what he used to call upon before, and sets up equals to God, to lead astray from His path. 39:8

  ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةًۭ مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

• Have you not seen that God sends down water from the sky, and channels it as springs in the earth, then brings forth with it crops of varying colors; then they wither, and you see them yellowed; then He turns them to debris? 39:21

  أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًۭا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًا

• God is He who made for you the night that you may rest in it, and the day for seeing clearly; 40:61

  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا

• God is He who made for you the earth a stable ground and the sky a structure, who shaped you and made your forms excellent, and provided you with good things; 40:64

  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ

• God is He who made for you the livestock, that you may ride some of them and eat others; 40:79

  ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ لِتَرْكَبُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

• Say: "Do you then deny the One who created the earth in two days, and set up equals to Him?" 41:9

  قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادًۭا

• He placed firmly-set mountains upon it, blessed it, and apportioned its provisions in it, in four equal days, for those who ask. 41:10

  وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ مِن فَوْقِهَا وَبَٰرَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَآ أَقْوَٰتَهَا فِىٓ أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍۢ سَوَآءًۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِينَ

• Those who deny will say: "Our Guardian, show us those who misled us among the Occulted and humans, that we may put them beneath our feet, so that they may be among the lowest." 41:29

  وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَرِنَا ٱلَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ

• Had We made it a flawed recitation, they would have said: "Why were its signs not made distinct?" 41:44

  وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَانًا أَعْجَمِيًّۭا لَّقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥٓ

• Had God willed, He would have made them a single community, 42:8

  وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ

• Originator of the heavens and the earth, He gave you mates from among yourselves, and mates among the cattle; by this means He multiplies you. 42:11

  فَاطِرُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ أَزْوَٰجًۭا يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ

• He grants, to whom He wills, daughters, and He grants, to whom He wills, sons, or He pairs them, males and females, and He renders barren whom He wills. 42:50

  يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ إِنَٰثًۭا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ٱلذُّكُورَ أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًۭا وَإِنَٰثًۭا وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَآءُ عَقِيمًا

• you did not know what the Scripture was, nor faith, but We made it a light by which We guide whom We will among Our obedient ones; 42:52

  مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِى مَا ٱلْكِتَٰبُ وَلَا ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِن جَعَلْنَٰهُ نُورًۭا نَّهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا

• By the clear Scripture! We have made it a flawless recitation, that you may reason. 43:3

  وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

• [He] who made the earth for you a spread-out expanse, and made for you upon it pathways, that you may be guided. 43:10

  ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

• and who created all the pairs, and gave you, among ships and cattle, that which you ride, that you may settle yourselves upon their backs, then remember the favor of your Guardian once settled upon them, and say: "Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, for we were not capable of it by ourselves; and to our Guardian we shall indeed return." 43:14

  وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ

• Yet they have assigned to Him, from among His obedient ones, a part [of Himself]. 43:15

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا

• And they have made the Agents, who are the obedient ones of the All-Benevolent, female beings. 43:19

  وَجَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًا

• and he made it a lasting word among his descendants, that they might return [to it]. 43:28

  وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةًۢ بَاقِيَةًۭ فِى عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

• And were it not that mankind might have [risked] becoming a single community [in evil], We would have given those who deny the All-Benevolent roofs of silver for their houses, and stairways by which they ascend, and doors for their houses, and couches upon which they recline, and ornaments. 43:35

  وَلَوْلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًۭا مِّن فِضَّةٍۢ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَٰبًۭا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ وَزُخْرُفًۭا

• did We appoint, besides the All-Benevolent, deities to be obeyed? 43:45

  أَجَعَلْنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ءَالِهَةًۭ يُعْبَدُونَ

• So when they angered Us, We took vengeance upon them: We drowned them all, and made of them a precedent and an example for later generations. 43:56

  فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَا ٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ سَلَفًۭا وَمَثَلًۭا لِّلْءَاخِرِينَ

• He is only a the obedient one whom We favored with grace, and whom We made an example for the Children of Israel; 43:59

  إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ مَثَلًۭا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

• and had We willed, We would have made of you Agents succeeding one another on the earth. 43:60

  وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنكُم مَّلَٰٓئِكَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ

• Then We placed you upon a legislated way from the Command, so follow it, 45:18

  ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ فَٱتَّبِعْهَا

• Or do those who have committed evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal in their life and their death? 45:21

  أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱجْتَرَحُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَوَآءًۭ مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ

• Have you seen the one who has taken his emotion [overriding reason] as his god? God knowingly left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his Core, and placed a veil over his sight. Who then will guide him after God? 45:23

  أَفَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍۢ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِۦ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةًۭ فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱللَّهِ

• And We had certainly established them in what We have not established you, and We gave them hearing, sight, and consciences, 46:26

  وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰهُمْ فِيمَآ إِن مَّكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِيهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعًۭا وَأَبْصَٰرًۭا وَأَفْـِٔدَةًۭ

• When those who denied placed in their Cores fierce zeal, the zeal of ignorance. 48:26

  إِذْ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ

• He knew what you did not know, and He appointed, before that, a near victory. 48:27

  فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا۟ فَجَعَلَ مِن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ فَتْحًۭا قَرِيبًا

• O mankind, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes, so that you may know one another. 49:13

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍۢ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ شُعُوبًۭا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟

• Cast into Jahannam, both of you, every [being] who persistently denies, obstructive of good, an aggressor, a sower of doubt, who set up, alongside God, another deity — cast him then into the severe punishment. 50:26

  أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍۢ مَّنَّاعٍۢ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍۢ مُّرِيبٍ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ

• And for the Recidivists [Aad]: when We sent upon them the barren wind, which left nothing it passed over without reducing it to dust. 51:42

  وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ

• And do not place, alongside God, another deity: I am to you, from Him, a clear warner. 51:51

  وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

• We produced them in a [new] production, and made them beings inaugural, loving, fertile and of shared stock, for the companions of the right. 56:38

  إِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءًۭ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًۭا لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

• If We willed, We could make it debris, and you would remain lamenting: "We are indeed ruined! Rather, we are dispossessed." 56:67

  لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَٰهُ حُطَٰمًۭا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ إِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُونَ بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ

• If We willed, We could make it bitter/salty. 56:70

  لَوْ نَشَآءُ جَعَلْنَٰهُ أُجَاجًۭا

• We made it a reminder and a benefit for the travelers. 56:73

  نَحْنُ جَعَلْنَٰهَا تَذْكِرَةًۭ وَمَتَٰعًۭا لِّلْمُقْوِينَ

• Is it this discourse that you treat with disdain, and do you make your denial [your response to your] provision? 56:82

  أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ

• Believe in God and His messenger, and spend from that which He has made you trustees of. 57:7

  ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ

• And We certainly sent Nuh and Ibrahim and placed in their descendants prophecy and the Scripture. 57:26

  وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًۭا وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَٰبَ

• And We placed in the cores of those who followed him compassion and benevolence, and monasticism, which they invented — We did not prescribe it for them — except in seeking the pleasure of God. 57:27

  وَجَعَلْنَا فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةًۭ وَرَحْمَةًۭ وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ٱبْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَٰهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ رِضْوَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ

• O you who believe, be mindful of God and believe in His messenger; He will give you a double portion of His benevolence and make for you a light by which you will walk, and He will forgive you. 57:28

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَسُولِهِۦ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ نُورًۭا تَمْشُونَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ

• And those who came after them say: Our Guardian, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and put no rancor in our Cores toward those who believe. 59:10

  وَٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِى قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّۭا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟

• Our Guardian, do not make us a trial for those who deny, 60:5

  رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

• It may be that God will place affection between you and those you have held as enemies among them, 60:7

  عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ ٱلَّذِينَ عَادَيْتُم مِّنْهُم مَّوَدَّةًۭ

• And whoever is mindful of God, He grants him a way out, and provides for him from where he does not expect. 65:3

  وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مَخْرَجًۭا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ

• God has set a measure for everything. 65:3

  قَدْ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدْرًۭا

• And whoever is mindful of God, He makes his affair easy for him. 65:4

  وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ يُسْرًۭا

• God will bring ease after hardship. 65:7

  سَيَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍۢ يُسْرًۭا

• We have indeed adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and made them missiles against the Diverters, and We have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. 67:5

  وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا رُجُومًۭا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

• It is He who made the earth manageable for you; so walk through its expanses and eat from His provision. 67:15

  هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًۭا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ

• Say: 'It is He who brought you into being and gave you hearing, sight, and inner awareness.' 67:23

  قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ

• Shall We then treat those true to God alone like the severed? 68:35

  أَفَنَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ كَٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

• But his Guardian chose him and made him one of the righteous. 68:50

  فَٱجْتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

• When the water overflowed, We carried you on the vessel, so as to make it a reminder for you, and so that a retaining ear might retain it. 69:12

  إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةًۭ وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌۭ وَٰعِيَةٌۭ

• And indeed, every time I called them, that You might forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with great arrogance." 71:7

  وَإِنِّى كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوٓا۟ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَٱسْتَغْشَوْا۟ ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا۟ وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ ٱسْتِكْبَارًۭا

• Then I announced to them publicly and confided to them privately, and said: Ask forgiveness of your Guardian; indeed, He is ever a Great Forgiver. He will send rain from the sky upon you in abundance, and provide you with wealth and children, and give you gardens, and give you rivers. 71:12

  ثُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًۭا فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًۭا يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍۢ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَٰرًۭا

• Do you not see how God has created seven heavens in layers, and made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp? 71:16

  أَلَمْ تَرَوْا۟ كَيْفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍۢ طِبَاقًۭا وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًۭا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًۭا

• And God has made for you the earth an expanse, that you may follow therein wide roads. 71:20

  وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًۭا لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟ مِنْهَا سُبُلًۭا فِجَاجًۭا

• Say, "I do not know whether what you are promised is near, or whether my Guardian will set for it a distant term." 72:25

  قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌۭ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَمَدًا

• Then how, if you deny, will you guard yourselves on a Day that will turn children gray-haired, a Day the heaven will break apart therefrom? 73:18

  فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًۭا يَجْعَلُ ٱلْوِلْدَٰنَ شِيبًا ٱلسَّمَآءُ مُنفَطِرٌۢ بِهِۦ

• Leave Me with the one I created alone, and gave him extensive wealth, and children present with him, and spread everything before him, easing his life — then he desires that I should add more. No! 74:16

  ذَرْنِى وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدًۭا وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُۥ مَالًۭا مَّمْدُودًۭا وَبَنِينَ شُهُودًۭا وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمْهِيدًۭا ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ كَلَّآ

• And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except Agents, 74:31

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةًۭ

• and We have not made their number except as a trial for those who reject — that those given the Writ may be certain, and those who believe may increase in faith, and those given the Writ and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose cores is a sickness and the deniers may say, "What did God intend by this as an example?" 74:31

  وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَيَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنًۭا وَلَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًۭا

• Was he not a drop of ejected semen? Then he was a clinging clot; then He created and proportioned him, and made of him two mates, the male and the female. 75:39

  أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ

• Indeed, We created man from a mingled drop, to test him; and We made him hearing and seeing. 76:2

  إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍۢ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا

• Did We not create you from a fluid, held in contempt? Then We placed it in a firm lodging, for a known term; We determined — 77:23

  أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ فَقَدَرْنَا

• Have We not made the earth a gathering place, for the living and the dead? And placed therein lofty, firm mountains, and given you fresh water to drink? 77:27

  أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا

• Have We not made the earth a resting place, and the mountains as pegs? Have We not created you in pairs, and made your sleep a rest? Have We not made the night a covering, and the day for livelihood? Have We not built above you seven strong [heavens], and placed therein a blazing lamp? And sent down from the pressing clouds abundant water, that We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation, and gardens of thick foliage? 78:16

  أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشًۭا وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًۭا شِدَادًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًۭا وَهَّاجًۭا وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ مَآءًۭ ثَجَّاجًۭا لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا

• In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Glorify the name of your Guardian, the Most High, who created and harmonized, and who destined and guided, and who brought forth the pasture, and then made it dark stubble. 87:5

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ

• Have We not assigned him two eyes, a tongue, and two lips, and guided him to the two paths? 90:10

  أَلَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عَيْنَيْنِ وَلِسَانًۭا وَشَفَتَيْنِ وَهَدَيْنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ

• Did He not lead their scheme astray, blinding them? He sent against them massive birds, which pelted them with stones of hardened clay, and reduced them to the state of devoured stubble. 105:5

  أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍۢ وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
