God encompasses perfectly those who deny-disown. 2:19
وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ -
But yes: whoever acquires an evil deed, and whose offense envelops him entirely — those are the companions of the Fire, they abide therein eternally. 2:81
بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةًۭ وَأَحَٰطَتْ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ -
and they encompass nothing of His knowledge, except what He wills. 2:255
وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ -
God encompasses perfectly what they do. 3:120
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌۭ -
God encompasses perfectly what they do. 4:108
وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا -
God encompasses, of all things, perfectly. 4:126
وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مُّحِيطًۭا -
God encompasses perfectly what they do. 8:47
وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌۭ -
Jahannam indeed surrounds those who deny-disown. 9:49
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ -
until, when you are in the ship and it sails with them by a favorable wind, and they rejoice in it, a violent wind comes upon them, the swell comes at them from every side, and they think they are surrounded — then they call upon God, devoting their allegiance to Him alone: "If You save us from this, we will surely be among the grateful." 10:22
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍۢ طَيِّبَةٍۢ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌۭ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍۢ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ -
In reality, they denied what they did not encompass in knowledge, and whose interpretation had not yet come to them. 10:39
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا۟ بِعِلْمِهِۦ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُۥ -
I see you in prosperity, and I fear for you the punishment of a day that encompasses everything. 11:84
إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيْرٍۢ وَإِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍۢ مُّحِيطٍۢ -
My Guardian indeed encompasses what you do. 11:92
إِنَّ رَبِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌۭ -
He said: "I will not send him with you, until you bring me a solemn pledge before God, that you will bring him back to me, unless you are surrounded." 12:66
قَالَ لَنْ أُرْسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تُؤْتُونِ مَوْثِقًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأْتُنَّنِى بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُحَاطَ بِكُمْ -
And [recall] when We told you that your Guardian encompasses the people [in His knowledge] — 17:60
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِٱلنَّاسِ -
We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose enclosure surrounds them. 18:29
إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا -
And his fruits were surrounded [by ruin], so that he began wringing his hands over what he had spent on it, while it [the garden] was empty despite its edifices, and he was saying: "Would that I had associated no one with my Guardian!" 18:42
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصْبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُشْرِكْ بِرَبِّىٓ أَحَدًۭا -
And how would you be patient about what you do not encompass by experience?" 18:68
وَكَيْفَ تَصْبِرُ عَلَىٰ مَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ خُبْرًۭا -
And We encompassed by knowledge all that concerned him. 18:91
وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًۭا -
He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not encompass Him in their knowledge. 20:110
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلْمًۭا -
and said [the hoopoe]: 'I have grasped what you have not grasped, and I bring you from Saba a certain report. 27:22
فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِۦ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍۭ بِنَبَإٍۢ يَقِينٍ -
until, when they arrive, it will be said: 'Did you deny My signs, without having encompassed them in knowledge? 27:84
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا -
while Jahannam surely encompasses those who deny. 29:54
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ -
indeed, He encompasses all things. 41:54
أَلَآ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مُّحِيطٌۢ -
And another [gain] which you had not yet attained: God has already encompassed it [within His power]. 48:21
وَأُخْرَىٰ لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا -
The command descends among them, so that you may know that God is capable of all things, and that God encompasses all things in knowledge. 65:12
يَتَنَزَّلُ ٱلْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًۢا -
[He is] Knower of what escapes the senses, and He discloses none of it to anyone, except a messenger He has approved of. He then sends before him and behind him a watch, so that He may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Guardian; and He encompasses whatever is with them and enumerates all things with exactness. 72:28
عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍۢ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًۭا لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا۟ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عَدَدًۢا -
Yet those who reject the truth persist in denial, and God encompasses them from behind. 85:20
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍۢ وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ
