When his Guardian manifested Himself to the mountain, He made it collapse under pressure, and Moussa fell thunderstruck. 7:143
فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّۭا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًۭا -
And he raised his two parents upon the Edifice, and they fell down before him in prostration. 12:100
وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيْهِ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ وَخَرُّوا۟ لَهُۥ سُجَّدًۭا -
Those before them indeed plotted; but God seized their structure from the foundations, so that the roof collapsed upon them from above, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive. 16:26
قَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنْيَٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ -
those to whom knowledge was given before it, when it is recited to them, fall prostrate on their chins, saying: 'Glory to our Guardian! Our Guardian's promise is indeed fulfilled.' 17:108
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦٓ إِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًۭا وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولًۭا -
And they fall on their chins, weeping, and it increases their humility. 17:109
وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًۭا -
When the signs of the All-Benevolent were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. 19:58
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَبُكِيًّۭا -
You have put forth a monstrous thing! The heavens nearly rupture from it, the earth splits open, and the mountains collapse in ruin — that they have ascribed a child to the All-Benevolent. 19:91
لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِدًّۭا تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًۭا -
And whoever associates [others] with God, it is as though he had fallen from the sky, and the birds snatch him away, or the wind sweeps him down into a far-off place. 22:31
وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ ٱلطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِى بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى مَكَانٍۢ سَحِيقٍۢ -
and those who, when reminded by the signs of their Guardian, do not collapse upon them as deaf and blind, 25:73
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّۭا وَعُمْيَانًۭا -
Only those believe in Our signs who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and glorify their Guardian with praise, and are not arrogant. 32:15
إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهَا خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَسَبَّحُوا۟ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ -
and when he fell, it became clear to the Occulted that, had they known what escapes our presence, they would not have remained in the humiliating punishment. 34:14
فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ -
And Dawud understood that We had [thus] tested him; he sought his Guardian's forgiveness, fell down bowing, and turned back [to Him]. 38:24
وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ
