• They said: "Will You establish therein one who will sow corruption in it and shed blood, while we celebrate Your praise, glorifying You, and proclaim Your holiness?" 2:30

  قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ

• And remember when We took your engagement: "You shall not shed your blood, and shall not expel yourselves from your dwellings"; then you acknowledged it, and you are witnesses to it. 2:84

  وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ

• He has forbidden you only the dead animal, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been consecrated to other than God. 2:173

  إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِۦ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ

• Forbidden to you are: the dead animal, blood, the flesh of swine, that which has been consecrated to other than God, the strangled animal, the animal on the brink of death, the animal in a declining state from illness, the animal dead from a blow of the horn, and what a wild beast has devoured — except what you have purified by fire — as well as the animal slaughtered in common whose shares are then drawn by lot with arrows. 5:3

  حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ وَٱلدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ وَٱلْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَٱلْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَٱلْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَٱلنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَآ أَكَلَ ٱلسَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى ٱلنُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُوا۟ بِٱلْأَزْلَٰمِ

• Say: "I find, in what has been revealed to me, nothing forbidden to one who wants to eat it, except that it be a dead animal, or spilled blood, or the flesh of swine — for that is a defilement — 6:145

  قُل لَّآ أَجِدُ فِى مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٍۢ يَطْعَمُهُۥٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًۭا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنزِيرٍۢ فَإِنَّهُۥ رِجْسٌ

• We then sent upon them the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood, detailed signs; but they were arrogant and were a severed people. 7:133

  فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلْجَرَادَ وَٱلْقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَٰتٍۢ مُّفَصَّلَٰتٍۢ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا مُّجْرِمِينَ

• They brought his shirt stained with false blood. 12:18

  وَجَآءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِۦ بِدَمٍۢ كَذِبٍۢ

• We provide you drink from what is in their bellies, between chyme and blood, a pure milk, pleasant to drink for those who drink it; and from the fruits of palms and vines, you draw an intoxicating drink and an excellent provision. 16:67

  نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍۢ وَدَمٍۢ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًۭا سَآئِغًۭا لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ وَمِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًۭا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا

• He has forbidden you only carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been consecrated to other than God. 16:115

  إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ

• Neither their meat nor their blood reaches God, but the guardedness from you reaches Him. 22:37

  لَن يَنَالَ ٱللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَآؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ
