• neither dark dust nor humiliation will veil their faces. 10:26

  وَلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌۭ وَلَا ذِلَّةٌ

• As for those who committed evil deeds, the reward of an evil deed will be its equivalent, and humiliation will cover them; no protector will shield them from God — as if their faces were covered with strips of dark night. 10:27

  وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍۢ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا

• He said: "Do not take me to task for what I forgot, and do not burden me, in my affair, with excessive hardship." 18:73

  قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِى بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِى مِنْ أَمْرِى عُسْرًۭا

• As for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overwhelm them with tyranny and denial, 18:80

  وَأَمَّا ٱلْغُلَٰمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَآ أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَٰنًۭا وَكُفْرًۭا

• their eyes lowered, humiliation covering them, 68:43

  خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ

• So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised — the Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if racing toward an erected marker, their eyes humbled, humiliation covering them. 70:44

  فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا۟ وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًۭا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍۢ يُوفِضُونَ خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ

• And that there were men among mankind who sought refuge in men among the Occulted, and they only increased them in confusion. 72:6

  وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًۭا

• and whoever believes in his Guardian will fear neither loss nor injustice. 72:13

  فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًۭا وَلَا رَهَقًۭا

• I will cover him with a mounting torment. 74:17

  سَأُرْهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا

• And faces, that Day, will have dust upon them, covered in blackness. 80:41

  وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌۭ تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
