• and call your witnesses, besides God, if you are truthful. 2:23

  وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And He taught Adam all the attributes, then He presented them to the Agents, and said: "Inform Me of the attributes of these, if you are truthful." 2:31

  وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And believe in what I have sent down, confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to deny-disown it; 2:41

  وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍۭ بِهِۦ

• And when a scripture came to them from God, confirming what is with them — though before they used to ask for victory over those who denied-disowned —, 2:89

  وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ كِتَٰبٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

• and it is the truth, confirming what is with them. 2:91

  وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ

• Say: "If the last abode, with God, is reserved exclusively for you, to the exclusion of mankind, wish, then, for death, if you are truthful." 2:94

  قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَالِصَةًۭ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Say: "Whoever is an enemy of Jibril should know that it is he who brought it down upon your core, with God's permission, confirming what precedes it, and as a guidance and good tidings for the believers." 2:97

  قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُۥ نَزَّلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

• And when a messenger came to them from God, confirming what is with them, a group of those to whom the Scripture was given cast the Scripture of God behind their backs, as if they did not know. 2:101

  وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

• Say: "Bring your proof, if you are truthful." 2:111

  قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• those are the ones who have been truthful, 2:177

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟

• And whoever among you is sick, or suffers an ailment of the head, then a compensation by fasting, alms, or any other good deed. 2:196

  فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ بِهِۦٓ أَذًۭى مِّن رَّأْسِهِۦ فَفِدْيَةٌۭ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍۢ

• A recognized word and forgiveness are better than alms followed by harm. 2:263

  قَوْلٌۭ مَّعْرُوفٌۭ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌۭ مِّن صَدَقَةٍۢ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًۭى

• O you who have believed! do not annul your alms by reminder [of your benefactions] and harm, like one who spends his wealth for show before people, and believes neither in God nor in the Last Day. 2:264

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُبْطِلُوا۟ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلْأَذَىٰ كَٱلَّذِى يُنفِقُ مَالَهُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ

• If you disclose your alms, that is excellent; 2:271

  إِن تُبْدُوا۟ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِىَ

• God destroys usury, and makes alms grow. 2:276

  يَمْحَقُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّبَوٰا۟ وَيُرْبِى ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ

• and that you remit it as charity is better for you, if you knew. 2:280

  وَأَن تَصَدَّقُوا۟ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

• the Living, the Self-Subsisting. He sent down upon you the Scripture, in truth, confirming what precedes it, 3:3

  ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ

• the patient, the truthful, the devoted, those who spend, and those who ask forgiveness before dawn. 3:17

  ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلْمُنفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ بِٱلْأَسْحَارِ

• The Agents called him while he maintained the Contact in the oratory: "God announces to you Yahya, confirming a word from God, a chief, a man of total continence, and a prophet, among the righteous." 3:39

  فَنَادَتْهُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٌۭ يُصَلِّى فِى ٱلْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًۢا بِكَلِمَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًۭا وَحَصُورًۭا وَنَبِيًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

• And [I come] confirming what, of the Tawrah, precedes me, and to make lawful for you a part of what was forbidden to you. 3:50

  وَمُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ

• And remember when God took the engagement of the prophets: "What I have given you of Scripture and wisdom, then a messenger comes to you, confirming what is with you, you must certainly believe in him, and certainly support him." 3:81

  وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَٰبٍۢ وَحِكْمَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ

• Say: "Bring, then, the Tawrah, and recite it, if you are truthful." 3:93

  قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ فَٱتْلُوهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Say: "God has spoken the truth. 3:95

  قُلْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ

• God indeed kept His promise to you, when you were routing them with His permission, 3:152

  وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥٓ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِۦ

• Say: "Ward off death from yourselves, then, if you are truthful." 3:168

  قُلْ فَٱدْرَءُوا۟ عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• say: "Messengers before me indeed came to you with clear proofs, and with what you said; why then did you kill them, if you are truthful?" 3:183

  قُلْ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِى بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلَّذِى قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And give women their dowries, as an attribution of full right. 4:4

  وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَآءَ صَدُقَٰتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةًۭ

• O you to whom the Scripture was given! believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you, before We efface faces, turning them backward, or curse them as We cursed those of the sabt [the act of rest/inaction]. 4:47

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوهًۭا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِهَآ أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلسَّبْتِ

• And whoever obeys God and the messenger, those will be with those God has blessed, among the prophets, the men of truth, the witnesses, and the righteous. 4:69

  وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

• And who is more truthful than God in speech? 4:87

  وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حَدِيثًۭا

• And whoever kills a believer by mistake must free a believing person from the burden of a debt, as well as a compensation delivered to his family, unless they forgo it as charity. 4:92

  وَمَن قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَـًۭٔا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍۢ مُّؤْمِنَةٍۢ وَدِيَةٌۭ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَصَّدَّقُوا۟

• There is no good in most of their private conferences, except for one who orders an alms, or a good deed, or a reconciliation between people. 4:114

  لَّا خَيْرَ فِى كَثِيرٍۢ مِّن نَّجْوَىٰهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَٰحٍۭ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ

• And who is more truthful than God in speech? 4:122

  وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ قِيلًۭا

• But whoever forgoes it as charity, it serves as an expiation for him. 5:45

  فَمَن تَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌۭ لَّهُۥ

• And We made Issa, son of Maryam, follow in their footsteps, confirming what, of the Tawrah, preceded him, 5:46

  وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ

• and We gave him the Injil, wherein is guidance and light, confirming what, of the Tawrah, preceded him, and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard themselves. 5:46

  وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًۭى وَنُورٌۭ وَمُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَهُدًۭى وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

• And We have sent down to you the Scripture, in truth, confirming what, of the Scripture, preceded it, and prevailing over it. 5:48

  وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ

• and his mother was a woman of truth; 5:75

  وَأُمُّهُۥ صِدِّيقَةٌۭ

• They said: "We want to eat from it, that our cores may find ease, that we may know you have told us the truth, and be witnesses to it." 5:113

  قَالُوا۟ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

• God will say: "This is the day when truthfulness will benefit the truthful. 5:119

  قَالَ ٱللَّهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ

• Say: "What do you think? If the punishment of God came upon you, or the Hour came upon you, would you invoke other than God, if you are truthful?" 6:40

  قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And here is a Scripture We have sent down, blessed, confirming what precedes it, so that you may warn the metropolis of cities and those around it. 6:92

  وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا

• And the word of your Guardian has been fulfilled, in truth and in equity. 6:115

  وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًۭا وَعَدْلًۭا

• Inform me with full knowledge, if you are truthful." 6:143

  نَبِّـُٔونِى بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• and We are indeed truthful. 6:146

  وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

• They said: "Have you come to us so that we may obey God alone, and abandon what our ancestors used to obey? Bring us then what you threaten us with, if you are among the truthful." 7:70

  قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَحْدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• He said: "If you have come with a sign, bring it then, if you are among the truthful." 7:106

  قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئْتَ بِـَٔايَةٍۢ فَأْتِ بِهَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• invoke them, then, and let them answer you, if you are truthful. 7:194

  فَٱدْعُوهُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• May God pardon you! Why did you give them permission, before those who spoke truly became clear to you, and before you knew the liars? 9:43

  عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَتَعْلَمَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• And among them is one who criticizes you concerning the alms: if they are given some of it, they are satisfied; and if they are not given any of it, at once they are angry. 9:58

  وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا۟ مِنْهَا رَضُوا۟ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا۟ مِنْهَآ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ

• The alms are destined only for the destitute, the poor, those who administer them, those whose cores have been united with the believers, those under the burden of a debt, those indebted by an unforeseen expense, in the way of God, and the stranded traveler — an obligation from God. 9:60

  إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلْغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ

• And among them is one who made a pact with God: "If He gives us of His favor, we will surely give alms, and we will surely be among the righteous." 9:75

  وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ عَٰهَدَ ٱللَّهَ لَئِنْ ءَاتَىٰنَا مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

• Those who criticize the believers who give alms willingly, and mock those who have only their effort to give — God mocks them, 9:79

  ٱلَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ ٱلْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ سَخِرَ ٱللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ

• Take from their wealth an alms that purifies them and makes them grow, and visit them: 9:103

  خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ صَدَقَةًۭ تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ

• Do they not know that God, He, accepts the repentance of His obedient ones and receives the alms, and that God, He, is the Ever-Accepter of repentance, full of benevolence? 9:104

  أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأْخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

• O you who have believed! guard yourselves toward God, and be with the truthful. 9:119

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• and give good news to those who have believed that they have, with their Guardian, a firm standing of truth? 10:2

  وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ

• rather, it confirms what precedes it, and it details the Code — with no doubt possible — from the Guardian of all beings. 10:37

  وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

• and call upon whomever you can, apart from God, if you are truthful." 10:38

  وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And they say: "When will this promise be, if you are truthful?" 10:48

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• We settled the Children of Israel in a true dwelling, and We provided them with good things as sustenance; they did not diverge until the knowledge had come to them. 10:93

  وَلَقَدْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍۢ وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ فَمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعِلْمُ

• Say: "Then bring ten invented sûrahs resembling it, and call upon whomever you can, besides God, if you are truthful." 11:13

  قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦ مُفْتَرَيَٰتٍۢ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• They said: "O Nuh, you have indeed disputed with us, and multiplied the dispute; bring us then what you threaten us with, if you are among the truthful." 11:32

  قَالُوا۟ يَٰنُوحُ قَدْ جَٰدَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• But you will not believe us, even if we speak the truth. 12:17

  وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤْمِنٍۢ لَّنَا وَلَوْ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ

• A witness from her family bore witness: "If his shirt is torn from the front, she speaks truly, and he is among the liars; but if his shirt is torn from behind, she has lied, 12:27

  وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌۭ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَآ إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٍۢ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ وَإِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن دُبُرٍۢ فَكَذَبَتْ

• and he is among the truthful." 12:27

  وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• "Youssof, man of truth, enlighten us about the seven fat cows devoured by seven lean ones, and the seven green ears of grain and others withered, so that I may return to the people and they may know." 12:46

  يُوسُفُ أَيُّهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقُ أَفْتِنَا فِى سَبْعِ بَقَرَٰتٍۢ سِمَانٍۢ يَأْكُلُهُنَّ سَبْعٌ عِجَافٌۭ وَسَبْعِ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضْرٍۢ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٍۢ لَّعَلِّىٓ أَرْجِعُ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

• The Minister's wife said: "Now the truth comes out: it is I who sought to seduce him, and he is indeed among the truthful. 12:51

  قَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ حَصْحَصَ ٱلْحَقُّ أَنَا۠ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• Ask the city where we were, and the caravan with which we returned: we are indeed truthful.'" 12:82

  وَسْـَٔلِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنَّا فِيهَا وَٱلْعِيرَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

• so give us full measure, and be charitable to us: 12:88

  فَأَوْفِ لَنَا ٱلْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ

• God indeed rewards those who give charity." 12:88

  إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

• but the confirmation of what precedes it, the detail of everything, and a guidance and a benevolence for a people who believe. 12:111

  وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ

• And they said: "O you upon whom the Reminder has been sent down, you are indeed deranged! Why do you not bring us the Agents, if you are among the truthful?" 15:7

  وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌۭ لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• They said: "We bring you rather that about which they were in doubt. We have come to you with the truth, and we are indeed truthful. 15:64

  قَالُوا۟ بَلْ جِئْنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ وَأَتَيْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

• And say: "My Guardian, cause me to enter by an entrance of truth, and cause me to exit by an exit of truth, and grant me, from Yourself, a supporting authority." 17:80

  وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِى مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍۢ وَأَخْرِجْنِى مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍۢ وَٱجْعَل لِّى مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَٰنًۭا نَّصِيرًۭا

• And mention, in the Scripture, Ibrahim: he was a man of truth, a prophet, when he said to his father: "O my father, why do you obey what neither hears nor sees and avails you nothing? 19:42

  وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّا إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْـًۭٔا

• And We granted them [a share] of Our benevolence, and gave them a lofty renown of truth. 19:50

  وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّۭا

• And mention, in the Scripture, Ismail: he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger, a prophet. He would enjoin upon his people the Contact and the purifying alms, 19:55

  وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ

• And mention, in the Scripture, Idris: he was a man of truth, a prophet. 19:56

  وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا

• Then We fulfilled the promise for them: We saved them and whoever We willed, and We destroyed the transgressors. 21:9

  ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْوَعْدَ فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ

• And they say: 'When will this promise be, if you are truthful?' 21:38

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And those who accuse their spouses, having no witnesses except themselves, the testimony of one of them shall be four oaths by God that he is indeed among the truthful, and the fifth, that the curse of God be upon him if he is among the liars. 24:7

  وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ شُهَدَآءُ إِلَّآ أَنفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَٰدَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةُ أَنَّ لَعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• And the punishment will be averted from her if she testifies four times by God that he is among the liars, and a fifth time, that the wrath of God be upon her if he is among the truthful. 24:9

  وَيَدْرَؤُا۟ عَنْهَا ٱلْعَذَابَ أَن تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهَآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• There is no fault for the blind, nor fault for the lame, nor fault for the sick, nor for yourselves, in eating in your own houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your paternal uncles, or the houses of your paternal aunts, or the houses of your maternal uncles, or the houses of your maternal aunts, or [houses] whose keys you hold, or [the house] of your friend. 24:61

  لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌۭ وَلَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَن تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِنۢ بُيُوتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ ءَابَآئِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ إِخْوَٰنِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخَوَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَعْمَٰمِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّٰتِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ أَخْوَٰلِكُمْ أَوْ بُيُوتِ خَٰلَٰتِكُمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُم مَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓ أَوْ صَدِيقِكُمْ

• He said [Fir'awn]: 'Bring it then, if you are among the truthful.' 26:31

  قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• and grant me a tongue of truth among those who come after, 26:84

  وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍۢ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

• So we have neither intercessors, nor a devoted friend. 26:101

  فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَٰفِعِينَ وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍۢ

• They said [Thamud's people]: 'You are only among the bewitched; you are only a man like us; bring then a sign, if you are among the truthful.' 26:154

  قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• They said [the people of the Thicket]: 'You are only among the bewitched; you are only a man like us, and we certainly consider you among the liars. So cause a fragment of the sky to fall upon us, if you are among the truthful.' 26:187

  قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• He said [Sulayman]: 'We shall see whether you have spoken truly, or are among the liars. 27:27

  قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• They said: 'Swear to one another by God that we will attack him by night, him and his family, then we will certainly say to his legal guardian: We did not witness the destruction of his family, and we are certainly truthful.' 27:49

  قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

• Say: 'Bring your proof, if you are truthful.' 27:64

  قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And they say: 'When then is this promise, if you are truthful?' 27:71

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• He said: "Guardian, I killed one of theirs and I fear they will kill me; but my brother Harun has a clearer tongue than mine — send him with me as a support, to confirm my words; 28:34

  قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى قَتَلْتُ مِنْهُمْ نَفْسًۭا فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ وَأَخِى هَٰرُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّى لِسَانًۭا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِىَ رِدْءًۭا يُصَدِّقُنِىٓ

• Say: "Bring, then, a scripture from God more guiding than these two, and I will follow it, if you are truthful." 28:49

  قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبٍۢ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمَآ أَتَّبِعْهُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• so that God will surely distinguish those who have spoken truly, and will surely distinguish the liars. 29:3

  فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

• The only answer of his people was to say: "Bring us God's punishment, if you are among the truthful!" 29:29

  فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• And they say, "When is this judgment, if you are truthful?" 32:28

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• and We took from them a solemn pledge, so that He might question the truthful about their truthfulness; 33:8

  وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظًۭا لِّيَسْـَٔلَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ

• And when the believers saw the confederates, they said, "This is what God and His messenger promised us, and God and His messenger spoke truly," 33:22

  وَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَصَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ

• Among the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to God: 33:23

  مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌۭ صَدَقُوا۟ مَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ

• and they have not changed in the least — so that God may reward the truthful for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites, if He wills, or turn to them [in forgiveness]. 33:24

  وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًۭا لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ

• Integral men toward God and integral women toward God, believing men and believing women, devout men and devout women, truthful men and truthful women, enduring men and enduring women, humble men and humble women, men who give alms and women who give alms, men and women who abstain from vain speech, men who guard their private parts and women who guard them, men who remember God much and women who remember Him — God has prepared for them forgiveness and an immense reward. 33:35

  إِنَّ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَٱلْمُسْلِمَٰتِ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلْقَٰنِتَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ وَٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ وَٱلْخَٰشِعَٰتِ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ وَٱلْحَٰفِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَٱلْحَٰفِظَٰتِ وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةًۭ وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا

• And the Despairing One [Iblis] had certainly confirmed his assumption about them, and they followed him, except a party of the believers. 34:20

  وَلَقَدْ صَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنَّهُۥ فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

• And they say, "When will this promise be, if you are truthful?" 34:29

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And what We have revealed to you of the Scripture is the truth, confirming what came before it. 35:31

  وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ

• And they say: "When will this promise be, if you are truthful?" 36:48

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• This is what the All-Benevolent promised, and the envoys spoke the truth." 36:52

  هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

• No, he came with the truth, and confirmed the messengers. 37:37

  بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

• One of them says: "I had a companion who used to say: 'Are you truly one of those who hold this to be true? When we are dead, earth and bones, shall we truly be judged?'" 37:53

  قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

• And when both of them had rendered themselves integral toward God, and he had laid him down on his forehead, We called out to him: "O Ibrahim, you have indeed confirmed the vision." 37:105

  فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ

• Or do you have a clear authority? Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 37:157

  أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Who then is more unjust than one who lies about God and denies the truth when it has come to him? 39:32

  فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَآءَهُۥٓ

• And he who came with the truth, and confirmed it, those are the ones who are mindful [of God]. 39:33

  وَٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ

• They will say: "Praise belongs to God, who has kept His promise to us, and made us inherit the earth, that we may settle in the Garden wherever we wish; how excellent is the reward of those who work!" 39:74

  وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى صَدَقَنَا وَعْدَهُۥ وَأَوْرَثَنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ نَشَآءُ فَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

• A believing man from the clan of Fir'awn, who concealed his faith, said: "Will you kill a man for saying, 'My Guardian is God,' when he has brought you clear proofs from your Guardian? If he is lying, his lie is upon him; and if he is truthful, some of what he threatens you with will befall you." 40:28

  وَقَالَ رَجُلٌۭ مُّؤْمِنٌۭ مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَإِن يَكُ كَٰذِبًۭا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۥ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًۭا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى يَعِدُكُمْ

• These say: "There is nothing but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful." 44:36

  إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And when Our clear signs are recited to them, their only argument is to say: "Bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful." 45:25

  وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Bring me a Writ prior to this one, or a remnant of knowledge, if you are truthful. 46:4

  ٱئْتُونِى بِكِتَٰبٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِ هَٰذَآ أَوْ أَثَٰرَةٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And this is a confirming Writ, in an unblemished, undistorted expression, so that you may warn those who have done wrong, and as good news for those who do good. 46:12

  وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌۭ مُّصَدِّقٌۭ لِّسَانًا عَرَبِيًّۭا لِّيُنذِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ

• a true promise which they were promised. 46:16

  وَعْدَ ٱلصِّدْقِ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ

• They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away by falsehood from our gods? Then bring us what you promise us, if you are among the truthful." 46:22

  قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

• They said: "O our people, we have heard a scripture sent down after Moussa, confirming what came before it, guiding to the truth and to a straight path. 46:30

  قَالُوا۟ يَٰقَوْمَنَآ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَٰبًا أُنزِلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

• Then, when the matter is resolved, if only they had been true to God, it would have been better for them. 47:21

  فَإِذَا عَزَمَ ٱلْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ

• God has certainly made the vision of His messenger come true, in very truth: you will enter the Sacred Mosque, if God wills, in security, your heads shaved or your hair cut short, without fear. 48:27

  لَّقَدْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ ٱلرُّءْيَا بِٱلْحَقِّ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ ٱلْحَرَامَ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لَا تَخَافُونَ

• Those are the truthful. 49:15

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ

• Rather, it is God who bestows a favor upon you in that He has guided you to faith, if you are truthful. 49:17

  بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Benevolent. By those that scatter in scattering, those that bear a heavy load, those that glide with ease, those that distribute a command: what you are promised is indeed true, and the Retribution will, in truth, fall. 51:6

  بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًۭا فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًۭا فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ

• Let them then produce a discourse like it, if they are truthful! 52:34

  فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِحَدِيثٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَٰدِقِينَ

• The mindful are indeed in gardens and by a river, in a seat of truth, near a Sovereign, All-Capable. 54:55

  إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَنَهَرٍۢ فِى مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍۢ مُّقْتَدِرٍۭ

• So why do you not believe? 56:57

  فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ

• Then why, when [the soul] reaches the throat, and you at that moment are looking on, and We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see — then why, if you were not subject to reckoning, do you not bring it back, if you are truthful? 56:87

  فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍۢ تَنظُرُونَ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Indeed, the men and women who give sincerely, and who lend God a goodly loan — it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a generous reward. 57:18

  إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

• And those who believe in God and His messengers — those are the truthful ones. 57:19

  وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ

• O you who believe, when you consult the messenger privately, let your secret talk be preceded by an offering. 58:12

  يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَٰجَيْتُمُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَةًۭ

• Were you afraid to have your secret talks preceded by offerings? 58:13

  ءَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَٰتٍۢ

• Those are the truthful. 59:8

  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ

• And when Issa, son of Maryam, said: O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of God to you, confirming what came before me of the Tawrah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose defining trait is Ahmad. 61:6

  وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ إِنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرًۢا بِرَسُولٍۢ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِى ٱسْمُهُۥٓ أَحْمَدُ

• Say: O you, the Reoriented! if you claim that you are the allies of God, excluding other people, then wish for death, if you are truthful. 62:6

  قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓا۟ إِن زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• And spend from what We have provided you before death comes to one of you, and he says: My Guardian, if only You would delay me for a short term, that I might give charity and be among the righteous. 63:10

  وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

• And Maryam, daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity; We breathed into it of Our Influx. She believed in the words of her Guardian and His scriptures, and was among the devoted. 66:12

  وَمَرْيَمَ ٱبْنَتَ عِمْرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ

• And they say: 'When will this promise be, if you are truthful?' 67:25

  وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

• Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they are truthful. 68:41

  أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَآءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَٰدِقِينَ

• and those who believe in the Day of Recompense, 70:26

  وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

• For he had not believed, nor made contact, 75:31

  فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ

• As for the one who gives, and guards himself before his Lord, and affirms the best — We will ease him toward ease. 92:7

  فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
