and He leads astray by it only the oversteppers, those who break the engagement of God after it was concluded, sever what God ordered to be joined, and sow corruption on the earth. 2:27

وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

And whoever exchanges denial-disowning for faith has indeed strayed from the straight path. 2:108

وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ ٱلْكُفْرَ بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

Those are the ones who bought error at the price of guidance, and punishment at the price of forgiveness. What, then, makes them so enduring in the face of the Fire! 2:175

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْعَذَابَ بِٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ فَمَآ أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ

and remember Him, as He has guided you, though you were before among the astray. 2:198

وَٱذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَإِن كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, from among those whose testimony you approve, so that if one of the two errs, the other may remind her. 2:282

فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُونَا رَجُلَيْنِ فَرَجُلٌۭ وَٱمْرَأَتَانِ مِمَّن تَرْضَوْنَ مِنَ ٱلشُّهَدَآءِ أَن تَضِلَّ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ

A group among the people of the Scripture would have liked to lead you astray; 3:69

وَدَّت طَّآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ

but they lead astray none but themselves, without realizing it. 3:69

وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

and those are the astray. 3:90

وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

God has indeed blessed the believers, by raising up among them a messenger, from among themselves, who recites His signs to them, purifies them, and teaches them the Scripture and the wisdom, though before they were in manifest error. 3:164

لَقَدْ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ

Have you not seen those to whom a share of the Scripture was given, buying error and wanting you to stray from the path? 4:44

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ نَصِيبًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ يَشْتَرُونَ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن تَضِلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

The Diverter wants to lead them far astray. 4:60

وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًۭا

Do you want to guide him whom God has led astray? 4:88

أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهْدُوا۟ مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ

And whoever God leads astray, you will find for him no path. 4:88

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلًۭا

And without God's favor upon you and His benevolence, a group among them would have resolved to lead you astray; 4:113

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ

but they lead astray none but themselves, and they cannot harm you at all. 4:113

وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَىْءٍۢ

And whoever associates with God strays far astray. 4:116

وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

who said: "I will certainly take, among Your obedient ones, a determined portion; I will certainly lead them astray, I will certainly give them vain hopes, I will certainly order them to slit the ears of cattle, and I will certainly order them to alter God's creation." 4:119

وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًۭا مَّفْرُوضًۭا وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِ

And whoever denies-disowns God, His Agents, His scriptures, His messengers, and the Last Day strays far astray. 4:136

وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

And whoever God leads astray, you will find for him no path. 4:143

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبِيلًۭا

Those who denied-disowned and turned away from the path of God have indeed strayed far astray. 4:167

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

God explains this to you, so that you do not go astray. 4:176

يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ أَن تَضِلُّوا۟

But whoever among you denies-disowns after that has strayed from the straight path." 5:12

فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

those are the worst in position, and the most astray from the straight path." 5:60

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

and do not follow the emotions of a people who have already gone astray, led many astray, and strayed from the straight path." 5:77

وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَ قَوْمٍۢ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا وَضَلُّوا۟ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

he who strays cannot harm you, so long as you are rightly guided. 5:105

لَا يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا ٱهْتَدَيْتُمْ

Look how they lie against themselves! And what they used to invent will have forsaken them. 6:24

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Whoever God wills to lead astray, He leads astray; 6:39

مَن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ

I would then be astray, and I would not be among the rightly guided." 6:56

قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًۭا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ

I see you indeed, you and your people, in manifest error." 6:74

إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

but when it disappeared, he said: "If my Guardian does not guide me, I will certainly be among the astray people." 6:77

فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمْ يَهْدِنِى رَبِّى لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

The bonds between you are indeed severed, and what you claimed has forsaken you. 6:94

لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

And if you obey most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from the path of God. 6:116

وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

Your Guardian knows best who strays from His path, 6:117

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

And many lead [others] astray by their emotions, without knowledge. 6:119

وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَآئِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ

and whomever He wants to lead astray, He makes his chest narrow and constricted, as if he were ascending into the sky. 6:125

وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًۭا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ

They went astray, and they were not rightly guided. 6:140

قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ

Who is then more unjust than one who invents a lie against God, to lead people astray without knowledge? 6:144

فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا لِّيُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ

and [another] group, error has been verified upon them. 7:30

وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ

until Our envoys come to take back [their Selves]: "Where are those you used to invoke besides God?" They will say: "They have strayed away from us", 7:37

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا

until, having all joined therein, the last of them will say of the first: "Our Guardian, these are the ones who led us astray; give them, then, a double punishment from the Fire." 7:38

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ٱدَّارَكُوا۟ فِيهَا جَمِيعًۭا قَالَتْ أُخْرَىٰهُمْ لِأُولَىٰهُمْ رَبَّنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَـَٔاتِهِمْ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ

They will have caused the loss of their Selves, and what they used to invent will have forsaken them. 7:53

قَدْ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

The court of his people said: "We see you indeed in manifest error." 7:60

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

He said: "O my people! there is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Guardian of all beings. 7:61

قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى ضَلَٰلَةٌۭ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

And when they were struck with regret, seeing that they had gone astray, they said: "If our Guardian does not have benevolence on us and does not forgive us, we will certainly be among the losers." 7:149

وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِىٓ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْا۟ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

This is nothing but Your trial, by which You lead astray whom You will, and guide whom You will. 7:155

إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا فِتْنَتُكَ تُضِلُّ بِهَا مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَهْدِى مَن تَشَآءُ

and whoever He leads astray, those are the losers. 7:178

وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Those are the ones who are like cattle — no, they are even more astray. 7:179

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ

Whoever God leads astray, no guide for him, 7:186

مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا هَادِىَ لَهُۥ

The intercalation is only an increase in concealment, by which those who conceal mislead [the people]: they make it free one year and restrict it another, so as to adjust the number of what God has made inviolable, thereby making permitted what God has made inviolable. 9:37

إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِىٓءُ زِيَادَةٌۭ فِى ٱلْكُفْرِ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامًۭا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامًۭا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّوا۟ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ

It was not for God to lead a people astray after having guided them, without first having made clear to them what they must guard themselves against. 9:115

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًۢا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ

and what they used to invent will have forsaken them. 10:30

وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

After the truth, what is there but error? 10:32

فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ ٱلْحَقِّ إِلَّا ٱلضَّلَٰلُ

our Guardian, so that they may lead astray from Your path. 10:88

رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِكَ

and whoever strays only strays to his own detriment. 10:108

وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا

Those are the ones who have lost themselves, and what they invented has strayed away from them. 11:21

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

our father is indeed in manifest error. 12:8

إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ

we indeed see her in manifest error." 12:30

إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

They said: "By God, you are indeed in your old error." 12:95

قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِى ضَلَٰلِكَ ٱلْقَدِيمِ

The invocation of those who deny is nothing but astray. 13:14

وَمَا دُعَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ

Say: "God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns back to Him, 13:27

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ

And whoever God lets go astray has no guide left. 13:33

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍۢ

those who prefer the present life to the last life, who turn away from God's path and seek to make it crooked: those are the ones in deep error. 14:3

ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ

God then lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills: 14:4

فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ

That is the deep error. 14:18

ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ

and God lets the wrongdoers go astray, 14:27

وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

And they assigned rivals to God, so as to mislead from His path: 14:30

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

My Guardian, they have led astray a great number of people. Whoever follows me is then of mine, and whoever disobeys me — You are then Most-Forgiving, full of benevolence. 14:36

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فَمَن تَبِعَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّى وَمَنْ عَصَانِى فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ

He said: "And who despairs of his Guardian's benevolence, except the astray?" 15:56

قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

And when it is said to them: "What has your Guardian sent down?" they say: "Legends of the ancients" — so as to bear, on the Day of Appearance, their burdens in full, and a portion of the burdens of those they mislead without knowledge: 16:25

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةًۭ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ

and there are those upon whom error has come true. 16:36

وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ

If you are eager for their guidance, God does not guide him who strays by himself, 16:37

إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَن يُضِلُّ

and what they used to invent will stray away from them. 16:87

وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

but He lets go astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills, 16:93

وَلَٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ

Your Guardian knows best who strays from His path, 16:125

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

and whoever goes astray does so only against himself. 17:15

وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا

See how they have multiplied examples against you, and so gone astray: 17:48

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا۟

And when harm touches you at sea, those you invoke abandon you, except Him. 17:67

وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ

And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the last life, and further astray in path. 17:72

وَمَن كَانَ فِى هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعْمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًۭا

and whoever He lets go astray, you will never find for them allies besides Him. 17:97

وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِهِۦ

and whoever He lets go astray, you will never find for him an ally to set him back on the path. 18:17

وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ وَلِيًّۭا مُّرْشِدًۭا

I did not make them witnesses to the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor to their own creation, and I would never take those who mislead as a support. 18:51

مَّآ أَشْهَدتُّهُمْ خَلْقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا خَلْقَ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا كُنتُ مُتَّخِذَ ٱلْمُضِلِّينَ عَضُدًۭا

Say: "Shall I inform you of those who are the greatest losers in their deeds — those whose effort has gone astray in the present life, while they think they are doing well?" 18:104

قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَٰلًا ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا

Yet the wrongdoers, today, are in manifest error. 19:38

لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Say: "Whoever is in error, let the All-Benevolent extend for him a long respite!" 19:75

قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا

My Guardian neither strays nor forgets.» 20:52

لَّا يَضِلُّ رَبِّى وَلَا يَنسَى

And Fir'awn led his people astray; he did not guide them. 20:79

وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ

He said: «We have indeed tried your people after you, and as-Samiri has led them astray.» 20:85

قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

He said: «Harun, what kept you, when you saw them straying, from following me? Did you then disobey my order?» 20:93

قَالَ يَٰهَٰرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوٓا۟ أَلَّا تَتَّبِعَنِ أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِى

And should guidance come to you from Me, then whoever follows My guidance shall neither stray nor toil; 20:123

فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًۭى فَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ

He said: 'You and your fathers were indeed in manifest error.' 21:54

قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنتُمْ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمْ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

And among mankind is he who disputes about God without knowledge and follows every rebellious Diverter, for whom it has been decreed that whoever takes him as an ally, he will misguide him and guide him to the punishment of the Blaze. 22:4

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّرِيدٍۢ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُۥ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُۥ يُضِلُّهُۥ وَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

And among mankind is he who disputes about God without knowledge, without guidance, and without an illuminating Scripture, turning his side away in arrogance, to lead [others] astray from the way of God. 22:9

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَلَا هُدًۭى وَلَا كِتَٰبٍۢ مُّنِيرٍۢ ثَانِىَ عِطْفِهِۦ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

That is indeed far-reaching error — he calls upon 22:13

ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلْبَعِيدُ يَدْعُوا۟

They will say: Our Guardian, our misery overcame us, and we were an astray people. 23:106

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًۭا ضَآلِّينَ

See how they multiply examples about you: they have thus gone astray and can no longer find a way. 25:9

ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًۭا

And the day when He gathers them, them and what they obeyed besides God, He will say: Was it you who led these obedient ones of Mine astray, or did they themselves stray from the way? 25:17

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

And the day the unjust one bites his hands, he will say: Ah, if only I had taken a way with the messenger! Woe to me! If only I had not taken so-and-so as an intimate friend! He led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. 25:29

وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًۭا يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى

Those who will be gathered upon their faces toward Jahannam — those have the worst position and the most astray path. 25:34

ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًۭا

Is this the one God has sent as a messenger? He nearly led us astray from our deities, had we not remained firmly attached to them! 25:42

أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا

They will know, when they see the punishment, who was most astray from the way. 25:42

وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

They are but like cattle — or even further astray from the way. 25:44

إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

He said [Moussa]: 'I did it then, while I was among the astray. 26:20

قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَآ إِذًۭا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

and forgive my father, for he was among the astray, 26:86

وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

They will say, disputing there: 'By God, we were indeed in explicit error, when we set you on the same level as the Guardian of all beings. 26:98

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

And it was only the severed who led us astray. 26:99

وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

Nor are you the one who guides the blind out of their error; 27:81

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ

and whoever goes astray, say then: 'I am only one of the warners.' 27:92

وَمَن ضَلَّ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ

he is an enemy, a manifest misleader." 28:15

إِنَّهُۥ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّضِلٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ

and who is more astray than one who follows his emotion, without guidance from God? 28:50

وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًۭى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ

We will draw out from every community a witness, and We will say: "Bring your proof." Then they will know that the truth belongs to God, and what they used to invent will forsake them. 28:75

وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ شَهِيدًۭا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Say: "My Guardian knows best who comes with guidance and who is in manifest error." 28:85

قُل رَّبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

So who will guide the one God has left astray? 30:29

فَمَن يَهْدِى مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ

And you are not the one who guides the blind out of their error; 30:53

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ

And among people is he who buys distracting talk, to lead [others] astray from the way of God without knowledge, and to take it in mockery; 31:6

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِى لَهْوَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا

The wrongdoers are rather in manifest error. 31:11

بَلِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

And they said, "When we are dissolved into the earth, will we truly be in a new creation?" 32:10

وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍۭ

And whoever disobeys God and His messenger has strayed into manifest error. 33:36

وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۭا مُّبِينًۭا

And they will say, "Our Guardian, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 33:67

وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠

No — those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in punishment and far-reaching error. 34:8

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلْبَعِيدِ

And indeed, either we or you are upon guidance, or in manifest error." 34:24

وَإِنَّآ أَوْ إِيَّاكُمْ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوْ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Say, "If I stray, I stray only against myself; and if I am guided, it is by what my Guardian reveals to me — 34:50

قُلْ إِن ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِى وَإِنِ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِىٓ إِلَىَّ رَبِّىٓ

God leaves astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. 35:8

فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ

I would then truly be in manifest error. 36:24

إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ

And when it is said to them: "Spend from what God has provided you," those who deny say to those who have believed: "Shall we feed one whom God, if He willed, would feed Himself? You are only in manifest error." 36:47

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Yet he did lead astray a great many of you. 36:62

وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّۭا كَثِيرًا

They found their ancestors astray, and rushed headlong in their footsteps. 37:70

إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ

And indeed, before them, most of the earlier peoples had gone astray, 37:71

وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

"O Dawud, We have made you a representative on earth; so judge among the people with truth, and do not follow emotion, lest it lead you astray from the path of God. 38:26

يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

Those who stray from the path of God will have a severe punishment, for having forgotten the Day of Reckoning." 38:26

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ

then, when He grants him a favor from Himself, he forgets what he used to call upon before, and sets up equals to God, to lead astray from His path. 39:8

ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةًۭ مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

Those are in manifest error. 39:22

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ

and whoever God sends astray has no guide. 39:23

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ

and whoever God sends astray has no guide. 39:36

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍۢ

And whoever God guides has no one to lead him astray; 39:37

وَمَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّ

and whoever strays, strays only against his own Self; 39:41

وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا

but the scheming of those who deny is only in error. 40:25

وَمَا كَيْدُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ

and whoever God sends astray has no guide. 40:33

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍۢ

thus does God send astray whoever is excessive, full of doubt — 40:34

كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌۭ مُّرْتَابٌ

But the calling of those who deny is only in error. 40:50

وَمَا دُعَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ

They will say: "They have strayed from us; in fact, we were not calling upon anything before." 40:74

قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْـًۭٔا

Thus does God send astray those who deny. 40:74

كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Those who deny will say: "Our Guardian, show us those who misled us among the Occulted and humans, that we may put them beneath our feet, so that they may be among the lowest." 41:29

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَرِنَا ٱلَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ

What they used to invoke before will stray away from them, and they will know that they have no escape. 41:48

وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَدْعُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَظَنُّوا۟ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍۢ

Say: "Have you considered? If this is from God and you deny it, who is more astray than one who is in deep estrangement?" 41:52

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ

Is it not true that those who dispute about the Hour are in far-reaching error? 42:18

أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِى ٱلسَّاعَةِ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

And whoever God leaves astray has no protector after that. 42:44

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ

And whoever God leaves astray has no way at all. 42:46

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن سَبِيلٍ

Is it you who will make the deaf hear, or guide the blind and whoever is in manifest error? 43:40

أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَمَن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Have you seen the one who has taken his emotion [overriding reason] as his god? God knowingly left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his Core, and placed a veil over his sight. Who then will guide him after God? 45:23

أَفَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍۢ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِۦ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةًۭ فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱللَّهِ

And who is more astray than one who invokes, besides God, that which will not answer him until the Day of Appearance, while they remain heedless of their invocation? 46:5

وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَآئِهِمْ غَٰفِلُونَ

Rather, they strayed from them, 46:28

بَلْ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنْهُمْ

Those are in manifest error. 46:32

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Those who deny and turn [people] away from the path of God — He renders their deeds astray. 47:1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

And those who fought in the path of God, He will never render their deeds astray. 47:4

وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

And those who deny — ruin be upon them, and He renders their deeds astray. 47:8

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَتَعْسًۭا لَّهُمْ وَأَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

His companion will say: 'Our Guardian, I did not make him transgress, but he was in deep error.' 50:27

قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Benevolent. By the star when it sets: your companion has not strayed, nor has he erred. He does not speak from emotion — it is nothing but a revelation revealed. 53:4

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌۭ يُوحَىٰ

Your Guardian indeed knows best who has strayed from His way, 53:30

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

They said: 'Shall we follow a single human being from among us? We would then be in error and madness. Has the Reminder been cast upon him alone, among us? Rather, he is a boastful liar.' 54:25

فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرًۭا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدًۭا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ وَسُعُرٍ أَءُلْقِىَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌۭ

The severed are indeed in error and madness, the Day they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces: 'Taste the touch of Saqar.' 54:48

إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ وَسُعُرٍۢ يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا۟ مَسَّ سَقَرَ

Then indeed you, O astray, denying ones, will eat from the tree of Zaqqum, and fill your bellies with it, and drink on top of it boiling water, drinking as thirsty camels drink. 56:55

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍۢ مِّن زَقُّومٍۢ فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ

As for the one who is among the denying, astray ones: a welcome of boiling water, and burning in the Blazing Fire. 56:94

وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ فَنُزُلٌۭ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

And whoever among you does this has strayed from the right path. 60:1

وَمَن يَفْعَلْهُ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

It is He who raised among the people without Scripture a messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom, although they were before in manifest error — and others among them who have not yet joined them. 62:3

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ فِى ٱلْأُمِّيِّـۧنَ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا۟ بِهِمْ

They will say: 'Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied him and said: God has not sent down anything, you are only in great error.' 67:9

قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌۭ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ كَبِيرٍۢ

You will soon know who is in manifest error. 67:29

فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ

Your Guardian knows best who has strayed from His path, 68:7

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ

And they have already led many astray. 71:24

وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا

And do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 71:24

وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلًۭا

If You leave them, they will mislead Your obedient ones and will not beget except wicked ones, great deniers." 71:27

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا۟ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا فَاجِرًۭا كَفَّارًۭا

Thus does God leave astray whom He wills and guide whom He wills. 74:31

كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ

Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? And find you seeking your way and guide you? And find you in need and enrich you? 93:8

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ

Did He not lead their scheme astray, blinding them? He sent against them massive birds, which pelted them with stones of hardened clay, and reduced them to the state of devoured stubble. 105:5

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍۢ وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
