and it is not in God's nature to unveil to you what escapes the senses, 3:179
وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ -
And you will not cease to discover among them a betrayal, except a small number of them. 5:13
وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ -
And it is He who sent down water from the sky, and We brought forth by it the vegetation of every kind, and We brought forth from it a greenery, from which We bring forth grain in clustered ears, and, from the palm tree, from its spathe, clusters within reach, and gardens of vines, the olive and the pomegranate, resembling and not resembling. 6:99
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًۭا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّۭا مُّتَرَاكِبًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌۭ دَانِيَةٌۭ وَجَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّنْ أَعْنَابٍۢ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًۭا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَٰبِهٍ -
You would have seen the sun, at its rising, pay only a brief visit to their cave on the right, and at its setting, leave it with a graze on the left, while they lay in a recess set apart from it. 18:17
وَتَرَى ٱلشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَٰوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ ٱلشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِى فَجْوَةٍۢ مِّنْهُ -
Had you seen them, you would surely have turned away from them in flight, and been filled with terror at them. 18:18
لَوِ ٱطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّيْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَارًۭا وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْبًۭا -
Then he followed a link, until, having reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people to whom We had given, besides it, no shelter. 18:91
ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًۭا كَذَٰلِكَ -
Have you seen the one who denied Our signs and said: "I will surely be given wealth and children"? Has he pierced what escapes his presence, or taken a pact with the All-Benevolent? By no means! 19:79
أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًۭا وَوَلَدًا أَطَّلَعَ ٱلْغَيْبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا كَلَّا -
and glorify your Guardian with praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting; 20:130
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا -
Will you be left secure here, amid gardens and springs, and crops and date-palms with tender clusters, while you carve houses out of the mountains, skilled and expert? 26:149
أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِى مَا هَٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ وَزُرُوعٍۢ وَنَخْلٍۢ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌۭ وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًۭا فَٰرِهِينَ -
Fir'awn said: "O court, I know of no god for you other than myself. So kindle for me a fire upon clay, O Haman, and build me a tower, that I may climb up to the god of Moussa; for I certainly think he is among the liars." 28:38
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًۭا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ -
He says: "Do you wish to look?" So he looked, and saw him in the midst of the Blaze. 37:55
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ -
it is a tree that grows at the root of the Blaze, whose fruits resemble the heads of Diverters. 37:65
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ -
Fir'awn said: "O Haman, build me a tower, that I may reach the passages, the passages to the heavens, and glimpse the god of Moussa; I certainly think he is lying." 40:37
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ ٱبْنِ لِى صَرْحًۭا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَبْلُغُ ٱلْأَسْبَٰبَ أَسْبَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَٰذِبًۭا -
And We sent down from the sky a blessed water, by which We caused gardens to grow, and the grain of harvest, and the tall palm trees with layered clusters, as sustenance for the obedient ones. 50:11
وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ مُّبَٰرَكًۭا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَٰتٍۢ لَّهَا طَلْعٌۭ نَّضِيدٌۭ رِّزْقًۭا لِّلْعِبَادِ -
and glorify, with praise, your Guardian, before the rising of the sun and before its setting, 50:39
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ -
It is peace, until the emergence of dawn. 97:5
سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ -
The fire of God, kindled, which rises to the very depths of consciousness. 104:7
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
