In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Benevolent. O you who believe! Do not take My enemy and your enemy as allies, 60:1
If they gain the upper hand over you, they will be enemies to you, and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, 60:2
You have had a good example in Ibrahim and those with him, when they said to their people: We disavow you and what you obey besides God; we disown you, and there has appeared between us and you enmity and hatred forever, until you believe in God alone — except the saying of Ibrahim to his father: I will surely ask forgiveness for you, though I have no power for you against God. 60:4
It may be that God will place affection between you and those you have held as enemies among them, 60:7
So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant. 61:14
They are the enemy. 63:4
O you who believe! Indeed, among your spouses and your children is an enemy to you, so beware of them. 64:14
And whoever transgresses the limits of God has wronged his own Self. 65:1
And do not obey every contemptible swearer of oaths, backbiter, spreader of slander, hinderer of good, transgressor, characterized offender, coarse and, moreover, a social parasite — merely because he has wealth and sons. When Our signs are recited to him, he says: 'Legends of the ancients!' 68:15
but whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; 70:31
And none denies it except every transgressor, a characterized offender; when Our signs are read to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples!" 83:13
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By those who transgress, panting, who strike the spark through their clashes, who launch the assault at dawn, stirring up the dust, to plunge thereby into the heart of a host! Man is, toward his Guardian, rebelliously ungrateful, and he is himself a witness to that, and for the love of wealth he is fierce. 100:8
