Issa, son of Maryam, said: "O God, our Guardian! send down to us a table from the sky, that it be for us a festival, for the first of us as for the last, and a sign from You; 5:114

قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًۭا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةًۭ مِّنكَ

And were they sent back, they would certainly return to what they had been forbidden, 6:28

وَلَوْ رُدُّوا۟ لَعَادُوا۟ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ

As He originated you, you will return." 7:29

كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ

The court of his people, those who had been arrogant, said: "We will certainly expel you from our city, O Shu'ayb, you and those who have believed with you, unless you return to our creed." 7:88

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَٰشُعَيْبُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا

We would indeed have invented a lie against God, if we returned to your creed after God has saved us from it. 7:89

قَدِ ٱفْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِى مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ مِنْهَا

It is not for us to return to it, unless God, our Guardian, wills it. 7:89

وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَآ أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَآ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّنَا

but if you resume, We will resume, 8:19

وَإِن تَعُودُوا۟ نَعُدْ

but if they resume, the way [of acting] of the ancients is already well established. 8:38

وَإِن يَعُودُوا۟ فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

It is He who begins creation, then remakes it, so as to reward with equity those who believed and did righteous deeds. 10:4

إِنَّهُۥ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ

Say: "Is there, among your associates, one who begins creation then remakes it?" 10:34

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ

Say: "God begins creation, then remakes it. 10:34

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ

And those who deny said to their envoys: "We shall surely expel you from our land, or you will return to our doctrine!" 14:13

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا

but if you revert, We will revert. 17:8

وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا

They will then say: 'Who will bring us back?' 17:51

فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَا

Are you then sure He will not cause a part of the dry land to swallow you, or send upon you a shower of stones, leaving you then to find no agent? Or are you sure He will not bring you back into it another time, to send upon you a shattering wind that drowns you, for your denial, leaving you then to find no one to pursue Us on your behalf? 17:69

أَفَأَمِنتُمْ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمْ جَانِبَ ٱلْبَرِّ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًۭا ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُوا۟ لَكُمْ وَكِيلًا أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ أَن يُعِيدَكُمْ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُوا۟ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِۦ تَبِيعًۭا

for if they discovered you, they would banish you, or bring you back into their doctrine, and you would then never succeed." 18:20

إِنَّهُمْ إِن يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِى مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَن تُفْلِحُوٓا۟ إِذًا أَبَدًۭا

He said: «Take it, and do not fear: We shall restore it to its former state.» 20:21

قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ

From it We created you, into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out yet another time. 20:55

مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ

just as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it — 21:104

كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍۢ نُّعِيدُهُۥ

Every time they wish to come out of it, out of anguish, they will be returned to it: 22:22

كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا

Our Guardian, bring us out of it; if we relapse, we will then [truly] be unjust. 23:107

رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَٰلِمُونَ

God exhorts you never to return to the like of it, if you are believers. 24:17

يَعِظُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَن تَعُودُوا۟ لِمِثْلِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Is it not He who originates creation, then remakes it, and who provides for you from the sky and the earth? 27:64

أَمَّن يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَمَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ

He who imposed the Recitation upon you will surely bring you back to an already appointed meeting. 28:85

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍۢ

then remakes it? 29:19

ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓ

God originates the creation, then remakes it, then to Him you will be returned. 30:11

ٱللَّهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

And it is He who originates the creation, then remakes it — a matter yet easier for Him; 30:27

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ

every time they wish to come out of it, they will be returned to it, and it will be said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny." 32:20

كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin nor return." 34:49

قُلْ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَمَا يُبْدِئُ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ

And the moon, We have set for it stations, until it returns like an old curved palm-stalk. 36:39

وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ

but you will return [to disbelief]. 44:15

إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ

And those who withdraw intimacy from their wives in this way, then go back on what they said, shall free a person from the weight of a heavy debt before they touch each other again. 58:3

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا۟ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا

Have you not seen those who were forbidden secret talk, then go back to what they were forbidden, and hold secret talk in transgression, hostility, and disobedience to the messenger? 58:8

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ

And God has caused you to grow from the earth as a growth. Then He will return you into it and bring you out a new emergence. 71:18

وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًۭا ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًۭا

Indeed, it is He who originates and remakes. 85:13

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
