• We have indeed established you on the earth, and We have given you therein means of livelihood. 7:10

  وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

• And the earth, We spread it out, and cast upon it firmly-anchored mountains, and caused to grow upon it everything in due measure, and We gave you therein means of livelihood, 15:20

  وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مَّوْزُونٍۢ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ

• and whoever turns away from My remembrance shall have a straitened existence, and We shall gather him blind on the Day of Appearance.» 20:124

  وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةًۭ ضَنكًۭا وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ

• How many a city have We destroyed, that had grown reckless in its own livelihood! 28:58

  وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍۭ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا

• It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the present life, and raised some of them above others in degree, so that some of them may take others into their service; 43:32

  نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍۢ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًۭا سُخْرِيًّۭا

• He will be in a pleasing life, in an elevated garden, whose fruit clusters are within reach. 69:23

  فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌۭ

• Have We not made the earth a resting place, and the mountains as pegs? Have We not created you in pairs, and made your sleep a rest? Have We not made the night a covering, and the day for livelihood? Have We not built above you seven strong [heavens], and placed therein a blazing lamp? And sent down from the pressing clouds abundant water, that We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation, and gardens of thick foliage? 78:16

  أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشًۭا وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًۭا شِدَادًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًۭا وَهَّاجًۭا وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ مَآءًۭ ثَجَّاجًۭا لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا

• As for the one whose scales are heavy, he will be in a satisfying life. 101:7

  فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ
