You were not with them when they cast their reeds [to draw lots] as to which of them would take charge of Maryam, 3:44
وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَٰمَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ -
And if whatever trees are on the earth were pens, and the sea, extended by seven seas after it, [were ink], the words of God would not be exhausted: 31:27
وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَٰمٌۭ وَٱلْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍۢ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ -
By the pen and what they write! You are not, by the grace of your Guardian, insane. And you shall have a reward that will never end. And you are indeed of a tremendous character. 68:4
وَٱلْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍۢ وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍۢ وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍۢ -
Read! And your Guardian is the Most Noble, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know. 96:5
ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
