That is why We prescribed for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a Self, without it being for [another] Self, or for corruption on the earth, it is as if he had killed all mankind together, 5:32
كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًۢا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا -
and whoever gives life to one [Self], it is as if he had given life to all mankind together. 5:32
وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحْيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا -
And recall, when We tore the mountain out above them, as though it were a canopy, and they thought it was going to fall upon them: 7:171
وَإِذْ نَتَقْنَا ٱلْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُۥ ظُلَّةٌۭ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ -
They ask you as if you were well informed about it. 7:187
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنْهَا -
And whoever associates [others] with God, it is as though he had fallen from the sky, and the birds snatch him away, or the wind sweeps him down into a far-off place. 22:31
وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ ٱلطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِى بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِى مَكَانٍۢ سَحِيقٍۢ -
When she arrived, it was said: 'Is your Edifice like this?' She said: 'It is as if it were. 27:42
فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ -
Those who, the day before, had envied his position began to say: "Ah! So it is God who spreads out provision to whom He wills among His obedient ones, and restricts it too! 28:82
وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا۟ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ -
Ah! So it is that those who deny never succeed." 28:82
وَيْكَأَنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ -
and beside them will be companions of reserved, clear gaze, as though they were closely guarded eggs. 37:49
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ -
it is a tree that grows at the root of the Blaze, whose fruits resemble the heads of Diverters. 37:65
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ -
Repel with what is better; then the one between you and whom there was enmity will be like a close ally. 41:34
ٱدْفَعْ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُۥ عَدَٰوَةٌۭ كَأَنَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ حَمِيمٌۭ -
As though they were rubies and coral. 55:58
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ -
It throws up sparks as huge as towers, as though they were tawny camels. 77:33
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ
