• Neither drowsiness nor sleep seizes Him. 2:255

  لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ

• Are the inhabitants of the cities then secure that Our rigor should come upon them by night, while they sleep? Or are the inhabitants of the cities secure that Our rigor should come upon them in broad daylight, while they play? 7:98

  أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا بَيَٰتًۭا وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ أَوَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا ضُحًۭى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

• When God showed them to you, in your sleep, as few — 8:43

  إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلًۭا

• It is He who made for you the night a garment, sleep a rest, and the day a time of awakening. 25:47

  وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًۭا

• And among His signs are your sleep by night and by day, and your seeking of His favor; 30:23

  وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦٓ

• And when he reached the age of walking with him, he said: "O my son, I see in a dream that I am sacrificing you; consider, then, what you think." 37:102

  فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ

• God takes back the Selves at the time of their death, and those that have not died, during their sleep; 39:42

  ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِهَا

• and a visitation from your Guardian swept over it while they slept, so that it became like a blackened wasteland. 68:20

  فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَآئِفٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَٱلصَّرِيمِ

• Have We not made the earth a resting place, and the mountains as pegs? Have We not created you in pairs, and made your sleep a rest? Have We not made the night a covering, and the day for livelihood? Have We not built above you seven strong [heavens], and placed therein a blazing lamp? And sent down from the pressing clouds abundant water, that We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation, and gardens of thick foliage? 78:16

  أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشًۭا وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًۭا شِدَادًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًۭا وَهَّاجًۭا وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ مَآءًۭ ثَجَّاجًۭا لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا
