Al-Bayyina
Divided After the Proof
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent.
Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators were not to separate until the Clear Proof came to them:
لم يكن الذين كفروا من اهل الكتب والمشركين منفكين حتى تاتيهم البينة
a messenger from God, reciting purified chronicles, containing upright writings.
رسول من الله يتلوا صحفا مطهرة فيها كتب قيمة
And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided except after the Clear Proof came to them.
وما تفرق الذين اوتوا الكتب الا من بعد ما جاءتهم البينة
And they were not commanded except to obey God, devoting the Law exclusively to Him, wholly turned toward Him, and to maintain the Contact and give pure liberality.
وما امروا الا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء ويقيموا الصلوة ويوتوا الزكوة
And that is the Law of uprightness.
وذلك دين القيمة
Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators will indeed be in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein eternally. Those are the worst of those brought into existence.
ان الذين كفروا من اهل الكتب والمشركين في نار جهنم خلدين فيها اوليك هم شر البرية
Those who have believed and done sound deeds, those are the best of those brought into existence.
ان الذين ءامنوا وعملوا الصلحت اوليك هم خير البرية
Their recompense, with their Guardian, is the Gardens of permanence beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, forever.
جزاوهم عند ربهم جنت عدن تجري من تحتها الانهر خلدين فيها ابدا
God is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him.
رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه
That is for whoever dreads his Guardian.
ذلك لمن خشي ربه
