Al-Qari'a
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. The Crash. What is the Crash?i 2
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم القارعة ما القارعة -
And what can make you know what the Crash is? 3
وما ادرىك ما القارعة -
The Day when people will be like scattered moths, and the mountains will be like carded wool. 5
يوم يكون الناس كالفراش المبثوث وتكون الجبال كالعهن المنفوش -
As for the one whose scales are heavy, he will be in a satisfying life. 7
فاما من ثقلت موزينه فهو في عيشة راضية -
And as for the one whose scales are light, the Abyss will be his abode.i 9
واما من خفت موزينه فامه هاوية -
And what can make you know what it is? 10
وما ادرىك ما هيه -
A blazing fire. 11
