Which of the Blessings?
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. The All-Benevolent taught the Recitation.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الرحمن علم القرءانHe created the human being, He taught him clear expression.
خلق الانسن علمه البيانThe sun and the moon follow a precise reckoning.
الشمس والقمر بحسبانThe stemless plant and the tree bow down.
والنجم والشجر يسجدانAnd the sky, He raised it, and He set up the balance — so that you would not exceed the measure in the balance: maintain the weight with equity and do not cause loss to the balance.
والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان الا تطغوا في الميزان واقيموا الوزن بالقسط ولا تخسروا الميزانAnd the earth, He established it for the creatures; therein are fruits, the palm with its enclosed spathes, the grain with its husk, and the fragrant plant.
والارض وضعها للانام فيها فكهة والنخل ذات الاكمام والحب ذو العصف والريحانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانHe created the human being from resonant clay like pottery, and He created the Occulted from a pure flame of fire.
خلق الانسن من صلصل كالفخار وخلق الجان من مارج من نارWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانGuardian of the two easts and Guardian of the two wests.
رب المشرقين ورب المغربينWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانHe made the two seas flow together, meeting; between them a barrier they do not cross.
مرج البحرين يلتقيان بينهما برزخ لا يبغيانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانFrom them both are brought forth the pearl and the coral.
يخرج منهما اللولو والمرجانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانAnd to Him belong the vessels raised up at sea, like mountains.
وله الجوار المنشات في البحر كالاعلمWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانEverything upon it is perishing, and only the Face of your Guardian remains, holder of majesty and nobility.
كل من عليها فان ويبقى وجه ربك ذو الجلل والاكرامWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانThose in the heavens and on the earth ask of Him; every day He is engaged in some matter.
يسله من في السموت والارض كل يوم هو في شانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانWe shall attend to you, O you two burdened ones.
سنفرغ لكم ايه الثقلانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانO assembly of the Occulted and humans, if you are able to pass beyond the confines of the heavens and the earth, then pass beyond them.
يمعشر الجن والانس ان استطعتم ان تنفذوا من اقطار السموت والارض فانفذواYou will not pass beyond them except with a [sovereign] authority.
لا تنفذون الا بسلطنWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانUpon you both will be sent a blaze of flame and a jet of molten copper, and you will not be able to help each other.
يرسل عليكما شواظ من نار ونحاس فلا تنتصرانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانAnd when the sky splits open and becomes rose-colored like tinted leather — which then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny? — on that day, neither human nor Occulted will be asked about his offense.
فاذا انشقت السماء فكانت وردة كالدهان فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبان فيوميذ لا يسل عن ذنبه انس ولا جانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانThe severed will be recognized by their features, and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.

فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانThis is Jahannam, which the severed used to deny; they will circulate between it and boiling water at its peak.
هذه جهنم التي يكذب بها المجرمون يطوفون بينها وبين حميم ءانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانAnd for whoever feared standing before his Guardian, two gardens — which then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny? — with abundant branches.
ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتان فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبان ذواتا افنانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانIn them both, two springs flowing.
فيهما عينان تجريانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانIn them both, of every fruit, a pair.
فيهما من كل فكهة زوجانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانReclining upon couches lined with thick brocade, the harvest of the two gardens within reach.
متكين على فرش بطاينها من استبرق وجنى الجنتين دانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانTherein are beings of reserved gaze, untouched by any human or Occulted before them.
فيهن قصرت الطرف لم يطمثهن انس قبلهم ولا جانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانAs though they were rubies and coral.
كانهن الياقوت والمرجانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانIs the recompense of good conduct anything but good conduct?
هل جزاء الاحسن الا الاحسنWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانAnd besides these two, two other gardens — which then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny? — deep green.
ومن دونهما جنتان فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبان مدهامتانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانIn them both, two gushing springs.

فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانIn them both, fruits, palm trees, and pomegranates.

فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانTherein are beings excellent and beautiful.
فيهن خيرت حسانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانCompanions of listening and support, kept within the tents.
حور مقصورت في الخيامWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانUntouched by any human or Occulted before them.
لم يطمثهن انس قبلهم ولا جانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانReclining upon green cushions and exceptional carpets, beautiful.
متكين على رفرف خضر وعبقري حسانWhich then of your Guardian's blessings do you both deny?
فباى ءالاء ربكما تكذبانBlessed be the name of your Guardian, holder of majesty and nobility.
