A Self Will Know
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. When the sun is wrapped up, and when the stars scatter, and when the mountains are set in motion, and when the pregnant camels are neglected, and when the wild beasts are gathered, and when the seas are set aboil, and when the Selves are paired, and when the girl buried alive is asked for what offense she was killed, and when the scrolls are laid open, and when the sky is stripped away, and when the Blaze is stoked, and when the Garden is brought near, a Self will know what it has brought forward.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اذا الشمس كورت واذا النجوم انكدرت واذا الجبال سيرت واذا العشار عطلت واذا الوحوش حشرت واذا البحار سجرت واذا النفوس زوجت واذا الموءدة سيلت باى ذنب قتلت واذا الصحف نشرت واذا السماء كشطت واذا الجحيم سعرت واذا الجنة ازلفت علمت نفس ما احضرتNo! I swear by the retreating stars, those that run their courses and hide, and by the night when it darkens, and by the dawn when it breathes: surely, it is the word of a noble messenger, endowed with power, secure with the Holder of the Edifice, obeyed there, trustworthy.
فلا اقسم بالخنس الجوار الكنس واليل اذا عسعس والصبح اذا تنفس انه لقول رسول كريم ذي قوة عند ذي العرش مكين مطاع ثم امينAnd your companion is not deranged.
وما صاحبكم بمجنونAnd he certainly saw him on the clear horizon.
ولقد رءاه بالافق المبينAnd he is not stingy with what escapes the senses.
وما هو على الغيب بضنينAnd it is not the word of an outcast Diverter. So where are you going?
وما هو بقول شيطن رجيم فاين تذهبونIt is not but a reminder to all beings, for whoever wills among you to stand straight.
ان هو الا ذكر للعلمين لمن شاء منكم ان يستقيمAnd you do not will except that God wills, Guardian of all beings.
وما تشاءون الا ان يشاء الله رب العلمين
