سورة 91

Ash-Shams

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sun and its morning brightness! By the moon when it follows it! By the day when it displays it! By the night when it covers it! By the sky and what built it! By the earth and what spread it! By a Self, and what proportioned it, then inspired it with its transgression and its righteousness! He has succeeded who purifies it, and he has failed who buries it.i 10
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والشمس وضحىها والقمر اذا تلىها والنهار اذا جلىها واليل اذا يغشىها والسماء وما بنىها والارض وما طحىها ونفس وما سوىها فالهمها فجورها وتقوىها قد افلح من زكىها وقد خاب من دسىها -
The Depleters [Thamud] denied, in their transgression, when the most wretched among them rose up. The messenger of God said to them, "[Leave] the she-camel of God, and her drink!" But they denied him and harmed her. So their Guardian brought their ruin for their wrong and leveled it. 14
كذبت ثمود بطغوىها اذ انبعث اشقىها فقال لهم رسول الله ناقة الله وسقيها فكذبوه فعقروها فدمدم عليهم ربهم بذنبهم فسوىها -
And He does not fear its consequence. 15
ولا يخاف عقبها 🖼
