Create, Measure, Guide
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Glorify the name of your Guardian, the Most High, who created and harmonized, and who measured and guided, and who brought forth the pasture, and then made it dark stubble.
بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم سبح ٱسم ربك ٱلأعلى ٱلذي خلق فسوى وٱلذي قدر فهدى وٱلذي أخرج ٱلمرعى فجعله غثآء أحوىWe will make you read so you shall not forget, except what God wills.
سنقرئك فلا تنسى إلا ما شآء ٱللهIndeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
إنه يعلم ٱلجهر وما يخفىAnd We will ease you toward ease.
ونيسرك لليسرىSo remind, if the reminder should benefit.
فذكر إن نفعت ٱلذكرىHe who fears will remember, and the most wretched will avoid it, who will burn in the greatest Fire, then neither dies therein nor lives.
سيذكر من يخشى ويتجنبها ٱلأشقى ٱلذي يصلى ٱلنار ٱلكبرى ثم لا يموت فيها ولا يحيىHe has certainly succeeded who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Guardian, and makes contact.
قد أفلح من تزكى وذكر ٱسم ربه فصلىBut you prefer the present life, while the last life is better and more enduring.
بل تؤثرون ٱلحيوة ٱلدنيا وٱلءاخرة خير وأبقىSurely, this is in the former scrolls, the scrolls of Ibrahim and Moussa.
إن هذا لفي ٱلصحف ٱلأولى صحف إبرهيم وموسى
